Donelson Jewelry — Attraction in Nashville-Davidson

I had read very positive reviews about Donelson Jewelry , so I waited until my schedule permitted for me to take my engagement ring here to be resized due to their limited hours 9-5 weekday hours.

When I was sized, the woman with glasses who helped me was very insistent on the size she thought I was, she had me try two sizes, and I told her the one she said that fit was uncomfortable. She told me that was how it was suppose to be, and didn’t seem to care about my consideration. I should have left with my ring.

I let them resize the ring, and when I went back to get it, it fit painfully small. I couldn’t get it off easily way and she told me “you’ve eaten too much salt!” “I would never size a ring to fit this small.” She checked the size and said they had sized it smaller than she had written down and that they would fix it.

They resized it again, I pick it up, pay for it, and still feel like it’s too tight. I took it off last night and now can’t get it over my knuckle. So now my custom made engagement ring has been resized twice, and no longer fits for daily wear.

I really think this all could have been prevented if the woman would have put her ego aside ( and not just try to guess my size) enough to listen to how I felt. Here is is in comparison to a family ring...

I snagged my wedding ring on the office door and noticed a diamond had fallen out. Talk about panic!! I was extremely blessed to find the one diamond that had fallen out. I called Donelson Jewelry to see if it would be possible to fix and have back before they closed. The jeweler repaired my broken prong as well as reset my diamond, steam cleaned my ring and within 2 hours I received a call from their office letting me know my ring was ready. I'll forever use them. They did a fabulous job and did it quickly. I'll refer all my friends are family!!! Very happy customer!!!

We own a business and they're always two sides of the story. After reading some of these reviews, it's sad that customers can post whatever they want without any proof of what they say in the post is accurate. It's not right, small business owners work hard to please every customer and some customer's don't think twice about what damage they can do to small businesses by leaving these negitave reviews. We all want to be treated fair and with respect. Customers need to think before posting negatively. Honest, hard working people go above and beyond to please all customers needs but customers don't always tell you exactly what happened. Thank you Donelson...

100 Stars for Donelson Jewelry!! I had ordered a custom silver ring for my girlfriend (Meditation Spinner ring) and it was the only one and it was a size 12. I called two other jewelers and they said that it would be hard to do, since there is a outside part of this ring. I called here and spoke to Leah and asked if I could bring it in. I wanted to surprise my girlfriend with it tonight. Bill looked at it and wavered a moment about it. I looked him in the eyes and said please please. He grinned and I told him she would be at my house at 4, he said I'll have it done today. I was sooo excited. Leah called me in less than an hour and they had my ring ready!! Just amazing people there and I left with tears in my eyes because Bill said this seemed important to you. I will never use another jeweler!
