Ressler's Market — Attraction in Nazareth

I’ve been coming here only since 2018 when I moved into the area, but this place has been a staple of Nazareth for a very long time. Since the first time I came here, I was impressed by the variety of local foods that are under one roof. The slice of shoofly pie I grabbed at the counter was amazing today. The fresh-made chicken salad was delicious and the pickled cabbage salad never disappoints. Those are just some of the staple items I buy here regularly. I highly recommend this place if your looking for grab-and-go sandwiches for lunch, fresh made deli items or small batch local items all under one roof. It’s rare to have a gem of a place like this still around. I hope they are around for many more...

Stopped in this morning for lunch (pre-made sandwiches). Best cold cut sandwiches in town, whether it's smoked turkey or classic Italian on a Portuguese roll, a traditional hoagie or ham and swiss on wheat you can be assured your stomach will thank you. I suggest the cold meat loaf and Lebanon bologna on kaiser as two other options. Also, quality lunch meats and cheeses make Resslers a great spot to go if you're about making your own sandwiches from home. Chips, candy, sweet treats, tastykake desserts and exceptional local Moravian sugarcake also available. A true Nazareth institution for decades. Do stop in if you're in the area for a quick lunch...

First time in. Went to back to order an Italian hoagie. Gent behind the deli counter went over to case to right of counter and pointed out premade hoagies. Said they had “a couple types of ham, hard salami, basically italian hoagie” and I quote. My deli alarm went off but I took him at his word. Boiled ham, pressed ham, cooked salami and…. bologna! Reviews here are too high for pre made “Italian” hoagies with bologna. On the plus side, roll was good and it was cheap but I wanted a hoagie, not a bologna and ham sandwich....
