Noah's Place Playground — Attraction in New Bedford

It was by far the best playground I've ever seen in New Bedford. For it to be "just" a playground and not be a playground connected to or inside of a mall, amusement park, or inside of a city park, it was beautifully constructed and well thought out for safety, children with disabilities, children of different age ranges, and a wide variety of different and fun things for the kids to play with and on. I was very happy and impressed with the entire playground being fully enclosed with a high metal or cast iron gate with only one entrance in and out, making it very safe and secure. I also like the fact that it had plenty of well lit lighting around the whole park, also making it safer and much easier to see the kids when it starts to get dark. There was plenty of extra space for the kids to run around. The entire inside of the playground had a rubber type ground that was great in preventing cuts and scrapes when falling. There were several benches for people to sit on and enclosed trash barrels, which were nice to see. Lastly, it being right there next to the ocean was great and gave a sense of peace and relaxation, making it an added bonus for me at least. Brand new park/play area for the kids. The kids love it. They did a great job with the gardens surrounding it as well. Unfortunately, its evident some of the parents who visit w/their children leave garbage everywhere. They do need more barrels but take it with you instead of throwing it just anywhere. Sad that after all the work & money that went into it, it isn't more appreciated. Great job to the people who put this together. Beautiful docks & boats of all sizes ...even a few luxury yachts. People were on their boats grilling their catch for the day & enjoying the sunset, as I was. Great to see our cities & towns doing so well....

What an absolutely AMAZING playground! It's completely handicap accessible! Amazing stimulation for young children, extremely clean, so much for children of all ages to do, clean bathrooms, free parking! I can't believe how many people don't know about it! I won't bring my sons any other playground and they wouldn't have it any other way. I recommend it to any parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents spending the day with children.
