My husband and I have been twice now to Saffron’s Cafe and both times we have loved it. Tonight we got the cream horn, the tiramisu cake, the saffron cake, and the gulab jamun cheesecake. We were pleasantly surprised when we were told that there was a surprise that was on the house. It was the pistachio cake! All of the pastries were very light and subtle, but my favorite part was how they weren’t too sweet. The gulab jumun was my favorite while my husbands was the cream horn. If you like cheesecakes and you like the idea of a dessert that gradually gets sweeter the more you eat, then you should get this! If you want a more cream forward dessert you should try the cream horn. The crunch was nice and again, it wasn’t too sweet. We will definitely be coming back. Not only because the sweets taste wonderful, but also because the service is always wonderful. The people that work at Saffron really show that they put love and intention into the food. I highly recommend trying this spot if you’re in the area or passing through. I think this spot is a gem that needs so much more love! (I will also need to end up trying their restaurant side. The food always smells amazing!)

For anyone confused this place is located inside Saffron by the sea. It is so cute and they have a ton of selection between cookies, cakes and pastries. They also have a ton of coffee choices as well. I personally got the tiramisu for about 4 dollars. Update: I’ve now had a second to truly sit down and eat and honestly, it’s not great. The tiramisu not only lacks a lot of sweetness, but it also lacks the coffee flavor. It is still good, but it’s just kind of eh. I’m very disappointed.

I haven't found a pastry shop this good in the area outside of Boston, their pastry chef is a master! Delicious classic pastries, cakes, and sweets. Reminded me of being in Paris. We got some turnovers and cake for breakfast and sat at a table though it looks like mostly take away. Also bought an eclair and a few cakes to try out. Absolutely delicious! Definitely worth going to if you want a sweet! I hope they do well, the food deserves it for sure!
