If you have seen You've Got Mail, this place will give you all the vibes. Its a mom and daughter shop where you can paint bisque/pottery and they throw it in the kiln and you end up with priceless art and gifts. There is really no limit. If you like making signs, catch phrases, or are artistic great. If not come and surprise yourself. They have events and discounts, all week long and a party section. You can make reservations. It won't break the bank I promise. If you are not happy with your stuff bring it in they might have some tips and tricks to fix without extra charge, because they want you to love your piece.
You can mount them, frame it, drill it for hanging, and even attach magnets for the fridge. Pictures of each to follow. It's also no one and done. My oldest has been painting since 6 and it is a real treasure to see the progress in comparison. It makes a good baby shower or goodbye gift. You can pass the tile around work send it in and have a hang worthy goodbye card.
The best part is the featured artist. You get to see some amazing art happening and some of the artist are as equally entertaining as they are talented painters. Ask for...
Read moreIt was nice being able 2 paint our own items after picking them out from their selection, however the prices are rather high. It was also my families 1st time at this place & the 'additional pricing was not fully explained. I was told $8 each for a studio fee + cost of our items we painted, which is not 2 bad. They failed 2 mention other costs and that it would take prob a week 2 get our finished pcs. We had 2 pay for shipping ourselves. We were only in New Bern for the day & if we had known this up front, we might not have started. Also, I pked out 2 boots 2 paint thinking they were a pair, but wen they were rung up they were counted as individual items. They were on the shelf like a pair, so I assumed they were a pair. So, other than the seemingly hidden costs & the delay on getting your painted item, it was a nice family activity. I just wish the pricing & delay was...
Read moreMy sons and I were New Bern for the weekend, we stopped in and right from the get go we were greeted with friendly smiles and so much help! We were leaving earlier than when our pieces were scheduled to be ready, Audrey immediately said she could rush the order to help accommodate our schedule and try to have the pieces ready before we leave. We sat down to paint our pieces, we were walked through every step of the way and staff was available to answer questions for us and help as needed. She and her staff did not disappoint! We hope to visit New Bern again and stop back in and paint different pieces. Excellent customer service and accommodating our schedule, as our pieces were ready just in time for us to grab them on our way home! Thank you to all the staff!! We had a great time and are so thankful for rushing our order and having our pieces ready before...
