Hanna House Bed & Breakfast — Hotel in New Bern

I really cannot say enough good things about the Hanna house...I really love this place! Camille & Joe are Genuinely warm & nurturing souls. Their Dog Katy is pretty great too lol But don’t feed Her cause She is on a strict diet! She of course would love to eat the wonderful food that comes out of Camille’s kitchen....Anybody would!! My SO & I were constantly amazed by the Breakfast that this Amazing Woman produces! We never wanted to leave. The House itself is Beautiful and Feels.....Like Home. I am so very glad that I found this Gem of a B&B. We will stay at The Hanna House any chance We get. In My Opinion The Hanna House is exactly what a Bed & Breakfast is supposed to be in every sense and Camille & Joe are Perfect Hosts in every way. This place is exceptionally clean also!! I will forever recommend this place to anyone & everyone. It’s in a really Great spot too...Walking out the Front Door to the left is the water maybe a block or so away (within sight also) and to the right is food drinks & shopping like a half a block away...It’s Perfect! The Town of New Bern is really unique & rather cozy! The People are really Friendly also. You just can’t go wrong...

I hesitate to tell how wonderful this place is because I want to be able to go back again. We had an incredible visit. It was one of our top 5 vacations in the 27 years of marriage. We went for a mere 1 night stay, but loved every minute. Despite arriving on a Sun. afternoon when most restaurants are closed, Camille guided us to a great place down the street where a Latin Jazz bad was performing as we ate. The house was so beautifully decorated. There was sherry and dessert waiting for us in the parlor when we got back from dinner. The room was perfect for us, very comfy sheets, a good sized space even though we picked the smallest room. Gourmet breakfast options that we picked the night before had us anticipating our breakfast time, but first we had time to sit on the porch to watch the sun rise over the water and drink some coffee. Breakfast in the dining room was very elegant. The area is perfect with lots of places to walk along the water and shops to visit. Every detail of the trip demonstrated Camille's spirit of hospitality...
