I requested a machine to be placed at my job months ago, they came out and set it up. It sold two drinks the first 20 minutes it was plugged in then died. They came out and worked on the machine numerous times and it would sell one drink and quit. When I called to get them to fix it the last time, no one showed up. That was over 2 months ago. Every time the service guys came out they wondered why that machine was put here knowing that rain gets in it and shorts it out. When the guy came to fill the machine he found a full machine that had drinks that were out of date and he got the service guys to come out finally. I asked the rep to put us in a better machine that is larger and thought that we were going to get it. Instead they bring the same style machine that failed repeatedly. His claim being “There’s not enough foot traffic. We’re on one of the the busiest streets in Hagerstown and people stop every day to buy drinks (not just one or two either) being really close to the gate at Mack truck we get plenty of traffic My suggestion is to find a vendor who will work with you. We paid the electric bill for months and got maybe 11 or 12 drinks in roughly the 6 months...

I have always loved Pepsi and Mt.Dew so it really hurts my feelings that I have mixed reviews about this landmark on March 21st of 2020 we visited just to get out of the house so we Went to New Bern just to visit the birthplace of Pepsi they kept it authentic as hell as I felt like it was 1898 all over again and I missed the NO COLORED ALLOWED sign outside the door. No one greeted my family the 2 girls sat with their backs to us and whispered to each other we wandered around until we got bored without purchasing anything but as we headed to the door another customer came in and was greeted with complete attention and generosity.

We visited again in June and we had a great experience the counter girl Jordan was friendly and enthusiastic about her job she told us parts of the history and we had pop corn and ice cold Pepsi in the glass bottles it was a completely different experience than the first visit. She even suggested we visit the local museum to see more on Brad's Drink and the actual equipment he used to invent one of our favorite beverages this would have been a 5 star review for nostalgia alone had We had this encounter the...

If you’re ever in New Bern, NC, make sure you carve out time to visit the Birthplace of Pepsi – it’s an absolute gem! This little historic spot is full of charm and fascinating stories. You’re immediately welcomed by a warm and friendly staff, who share all sorts of amazing facts about how Pepsi-Cola got its start back in 1898 right here in a pharmacy by Caleb Bradham.

The displays of old Pepsi memorabilia are a nostalgic treat – vintage bottles, old advertisements, and historic branding that show how the drink evolved over the decades. It’s like walking through a time capsule of American pop culture!

It’s a must-stop for any history buff, soda fan, or anyone just looking for something unique and fun to do in the heart of downtown New Bern. The whole experience is free to visit, and it gives you such a fun and personal connection to a brand that’s known all around the world.

Highly recommend stopping by – it’s a refreshing blast from the past in a beautiful...

So this was a huge disappointment to visit for our family. There was one room only which had two large curio tables that housed memorabilia ranging from old bottles to Christmas ornaments depicting various pepsi logos. When we asked the young man if there was more to tour the history how pepsi was creating, he simply said "no, the history is on the walls". So it was just a few placards placed on the walls of the perimeter of the building to give the history of how pepsi was created. There was an old looking pepsi cooler in the next room which we presumed might have been the original pharmacy where the drink was formulated that may have had the original pharmacy counter but it didn't clearly depicting that anywhere. You can purchase popcorn or pepsi fountain drinks, alo g with souvenir t-shirts. This was free to just walk around but it's literally just those 2 rooms. Nothing else so it was a little bit of a let down.

I came here a month and a half ago with friends of mine. My son was so envious that I took him for a weekend of camping close by just as a Mom and son trip for him to visit the place where his favorite soft drink started! I love that history could be preserved as much as it could be. And, Pepsi made with cane sugar tastes far better than with corn syrup. Maybe it was the esthetic and nostalgia of the original pharmacy space or not, but Pepsi in a glass bottle and hearing that distinct "Pop" of the bottle top from my young days when plastic bottle simply didn't exist just made me happy for the memory. My son and I also LOVED the Pepsi ice cream floats. I've never had that before.. only rootbeer floats! Such a simple thing that was totally the bomb!
