Gallery 46 — Attraction in New Braunfels

This establishment is located next to Habitat For Humanity. There are plenty of cool vintage items for sell. Some items are reasonably priced, other items not so much. I am pleased with the four items I bought. UPDATE: I found two more cool items to buy. Word of caution ... if the owner is there DO NOT show enthusiasm with your find. He will use it as an excuse to raise the price. I am not kidding ... lol UPDATE: Honestly have not been back to this establishment. Did not like it when the owner blamed his employees for the so-called "wrong" price. Did not like it when he spelled out "robbery" when I expressed concern about the welfare of one of his employees(?) Life is too short to deal with questionable characters. There are so many other vintage stores to frequent. My personal favorite is Antiques on Elm in Manchester, New Hampshire. My favorite auction house is Vogt in San Antonio. Both...

By far one of the most welcoming businesses I have ever stepped foot in. I entered the store on Christmas Eve eve with less than 15 minutes till close. I know that seems like a jerk move on my part, but I had been dying to check this place out. I told myself I would be quick so I wouldn't keep anyone from their families. To my surprise, no one rushed me out the door. In fact they welcomed me to stay as long as I'd like while they were enjoying what seemed to be a small Christmas party. They were all very kind and helpful - and not in the over invasive sales way. I honestly cannot wait to go back and I plan to bring a few friends. The staff is great, except the owner or manager. He is rude to his employees and takes any sort of bargaining as an insult. Tried to make an offer on something that had been there for a long time, did not have a price tag, was dirty, and would have to be hand scrubbed or professionally cleaned. He rudely asked if I understood how it was made after being short with his staff member and stormed off saying I should be able to afford the difference in price. As a customer trying to furnish an entire home right now, every dollar off helps. Truly hope you catch the store on a day...
