I show up alittle before 10pm through the drive-thru. Absolutely no one is here except the employees obviously. Waiting for someone to say something for about 1-2 minutes or so before telling me to hold on a moment. About a minute or so goes by, a car pulls up to the other side of drive-thru. Couple minutes go by, that vehicle continues driving up to the window. At this point now I have been sitting for about 10 minutes. Then another vehicle pulled up to the drive-thru on the other side. Then continued to drive up to the window. When he finally gets on to get my order he tells me they didn’t have the chili for my tots and it would take him an hour to prep(defrost) it. And me thinking over here.. hmmm y’all don’t close for another hour… why didn’t you prep and defrost that before you ran out of the other one. To me that looks straight up just lazy. And after ordering the 3rd burger he tells me it’s going to take alittle longer cuz they need to get more meat. Seriously?!? Why is this stuff not taken care of in advance. Y’all were dead!!! No one was here. Let’s proceed.. we get home. Start eating the tots and realize they look alittle darker than usually. To realizing they were soaked in oil when cooking. Like, not even just alittle.. SOAKED! All 4 of the orders of tots we had. The meat was the same as well as the mozzarella cheese. Then our order was wrong. Ordered a #3 no onions. #2 plain. And #1 with no onions. My #1 ended up being a #2 plain but with onions. 😒 I actually wanted all my vegetables! Super disappointed in this location as I have always gone here and never had issues like this before til now. Makes me wanna take an extra 5/10 min just to drive alittle further down 46 to the other location.
Then I thought.. hmm maybe they are short staffed. Nope! 3 guys in there.. and keep in mind that no one was there before me in line or parked in the other areas. Do better please. If y’all have new guys then maybe some talking needs to be done or...
Read moreThis place couldn’t even get a sweet tea with easy ice correct, and that was my entire order. There was 2 cars in stalls when I pulled up and one in the drive thru. Not busy at all. I pull up and order my tea. 5 minutes later I still have not received my tea and I see a woman walk out of the building (not in a sonic uniform) with three big bags of food. I’m assuming this was an off the clock employee that came to get “the hook up.” Her order obviously took priority over mine. Once I saw her come out I decided enough was enough and pressed the button again and simply said “This is taking way too long for just one drink.” I then hear William on the other side of the speaker say something along the lines of “Oh, I forgot, it’ll be right out.” He legitimately told me he forgot about me. One of 3 actual customers there, what the hell?! About a minute later he comes out with my tea and tells me not to worry about paying for it. I can already feel that my tea has no ice at all, but I can get past that. I take one sip and it’s like tainted water. What I had couldn’t even pass as unsweet tea. It tasted as though there was a tea bag thrown in it for about 5 seconds and then it was served to me. So at this point I go knock on the door. William comes out and I tell him that my tea is not sweet nor drinkable. He says “oh, someone must have forgotten to sweeten it” which was only half of my complaint. He asks if I want a different drink and I decline. If they can’t even get a sweet tea right lord knows what kind of mess up I would get next. I let him know that I would be writing this review, so management, if William did not give you a heads up on this he is really screwing up. I won’t be doing any business at this...
Read moreI go to Sonic at 716 TX 46 S. 3 to 5 nights a week. So much that I used to be able to tell them my name, and they knew what I wanted. I was very happy with them until several months ago. Those employees are no longer there, and since then, they rarely get my order right, or they're out of something I usually order, and anything I'd like to substitute it with, their system is down, or they tell me they've stopped taking orders, but all of the lights are on. I drove in tonight, the lights were on, I pulled into the outside lane at the drive-through because my truck is too large to fit in the inside lane. I was there about a minute before a car pulled into the inside lane, someone started to talking to them and took their order, and when the guy finally talk to me, he said they weren't taking orders anymore… REALLY?! I'm just fed up with it! I started going there because it was convenient, and it turned out I had a great experience all the time! Now... I'm done with it, I'll drive across town to go anywhere...
