Quiet, little preserve tucked away in a residential area of this sleepy town. Trails are easy to follow, are well maintained and connect to each other. The whole circuit can be completed in less than an hour. There is a parking lot on the west side with a map and other information but it appears the road leading to this parking lot is closed to vehicle traffic for some unknown reason. This may explain why I didn’t see anyone walking while I was there. I’d recommend parking on one of the streets just north of the reserve and walking to one of the trailheads. Read moreI finally got back to this small community Preserve and it was well worth it. I took the Sunrise Trail down to the Neshaminy Creek then took a left to check out Miller's Point and there in the middle of the trail stood a fox my spirit animal. I turned and walked back to the trail juncture turned around and looked back and Mr. Fox was sitting right in the middle of the trail. So I took the Creek Trail and across the creek I saw a beautiful weasel with a full winter coat searching for breakfast. Perched above him was a kingfisher. I went around 11am and passed 2 other people (and a leashed very friendly doggo 🐕🦺) Well marked little loop trails, except one instance that lead me to the road, but it was easy to find my way back again. It's easily accessible from the main road, although parking is limited.
