It’s a beautiful sunny Saturday and my daughter and I were in.Doylestown PA when I noticed my license plate had become loose. We google the nearest autozone and it was in New Britain Got here and the tall gentleman with an accent (Russian?) behind the counter was very pleasant showed me to the license plates frames (there was a large selection) and then you had to buy the screws separately. I pick the frame it wasn’t cheap $19.99 then the screws ranged $3.49 -$6.99 The only thing was the threads were different on all three I chose and I wasn’t sure which ones fit my car. I ask the gentleman which screws I needed and he say to buy them and come back if they don’t fit. I explained I didn’t want my plate to fall off and if he were look at my car and tell me ( there was only one other customer in the store and there were at least three men behind the counter he said no, we don’t do this service. I was shocked because my auto zone would have helped, they would have probably fixed it for me !! Guess it depends on the auto zone. Too bad they aren’t as friendly as in Hagerstown MD. I was disappointed. Let me clarify, I didn’t want him to put it on, just tell me what screws I needed and if I could use a screw driver I left without buying anything and hoping I still have a plate when I get back to my daughters So that was...
Read moreI’ve always been a huge fan of Autozone. When pricing out their oil change specials (especially when including bundles with an air/oil filter) it can be equally competitive to Walmart, if not better. In regards to this location, the customer service is hit or miss. Once went on a weekday morning around 11, and the staff was super friendly. On the weekends however…not sure what the issue is. Once bought a cabin air filter that didn’t have directional arrows on it indicating airflow - thought it might have been a manufacturing defect so I drove 20 minutes to the store to get some insight or possible exchange. Mind you there were two employees in the store, and one other customer just browsing who didn’t need help. Both employees acted like they had no idea what I was talking about, told me to look at the same model of filter on the shelf (which they were out of stock), then said to go to a different store. One of these same employees on another visit wasn’t even wearing a company uniform while on his shift (just a “wife beater” tank top and shorts). Come on Autozone, if you’re going to hire people who are working on two of the busier days of the week, at least make sure they have the knowledge and professionalism required when working...
Read moreMarc Antony was extremely helpful and kind at this location! Super knowledgeable about cars - which I am still very much a novice - but that did not stop him from walking me through a seemingly simple process (changing my windshield wipers) with care and attention, making sure to provide me with necessary details and patience. He was also very personable easy/comfortable to talk to, asking me about small details I had mentioned throughout my request for assistance, such as what my major is (I mentioned I was a college student) or giving condolences for the passing of my grandfather (I mentioned the car was his). It was undoubtedly one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had, and I wish him the best with all his...
