I’ve been coming to this little giant for over 30 years. Of course it has changed hands; originally it was a Clemens, then a Genuardis and finally a giant Although the name has changed, the quality of service has not. The store is always clean. The people are always friendly and helpful. We have a little saying here: ‘see you at the giant’ . It’s like our hangout place for the neighborhood groceries I’m going to share a picture of a lovely little cake they put together for me from my work. I was so impressed with the imagination skills that she had for me. The Store may be small, but is a ‘giant ‘ in our neighborhood

I’m in here almost daily, being a local resident who lives close by. You will find some of the nicest employees who have worked at giant quite a few years who will bend over backwards, for you, stocking the shelves, in the deli in the produce department. It seems as though the front is ever-changing. I’m not sure if that is because they rather have self check out do the work or if that’s what Giant is pushing now.

Great staff. Very friendly. I hate the self service bagging. Landis is also very friendly and they typically do the bagging. Unfortunately they don't carry some of the items I want. So I guess I'll keep bagging.

I live close to this store and hate having to drive 20 minutes to another; usually I do that. This week extremely busy at home I went in to get a few things as I treat this as a convenience store now.

As earlier reviews state, there is ONE human check out line and the rest are self serve (which always involves getting help unless you buy all of your food in boxes.) But this isn’t the crux of my latest reason to not shop there. While the line for the one register grew and grew FOUR employees stood at the office are talking while everyone’s ice cream melted waiting. And that robot is just the mascot of the lack of customer service.

The produce needs to be examined closely as they do not, sell-by dates too.

Please corporate Giant, close this store so a real market can take over. I’ve been in all kinds of rural locations up and down the east coast and never found a store...

I guess I’m officially a lonely old man. A wave of sadness always comes over me as I approach a self checkout line. Waning are the days of casual conversation and community. Fleeting is the friendly banter with store employees that was an enjoyable part of shopping. This time I had trouble checking out my produce and I left the experience with my head down. I also forgot my receipt and a bag of groceries. After realizing my mistake I called the store but my missing bag was not there anymore. The customer service person said I could come back and take what I was missing which was very nice. I probably wont do that because it would be awkward without a receipt and it’s not the $20 of groceries I forgot I’m writing about. I’m worried that I’ll go another whole day without talking to...

I go here several times a week. The store is great and the staff are very friendly. However, they recently converted more than half of their checkout lines to self-checkout, which absolutely blows my mind. They now only have one normal check out line operating at most times. Inexplicably, they still often have 2 employees assisting customers in the self-checkout line guiding them through the process. How does this make any sense? It just makes the entire process slower and more frustrating for the customer. Obviously i dont expect them to change this anytime soon but its disappointing and less convenient for...
