The food was HORRIBLE. It sucks that I came here out of curiosity and wasted money on a bad experience. I came here with low standards but the bar was even lower for the restaurant.

This place is a trap and there's infinitely better and more appropriate halal Malaysian/Thai restaurants nearby. Ex. Thai Lotus in North Brunswick

Before I get into food, the music they play is shallow club music that doesn't even match the restaurant's theme when mostly families are coming in to eat. The service was okay, servers weren't that receptive but they just did their jobs.

Now the food, this restaurant looks pretty but it does NOT make up for the low quality of food served.

I ordered some chicken dumplings, chicken pad Thai, Mongolian beef, and the Malaysian chicken curry.

The chicken dumplings tasted exactly like something I had bought from trader joe's last week. They weren't bland but they weren't worth ordering.

The Mongolian beef was really sweet and cut into THIN STRIPS. Absolutely had no flavor besides being sweet. The sauce was the only thing you could taste. It tasted like eating chewy sliced orange rinds without the orange flavor.

The Malaysian curry was something I've never seen or tasted before. It was basically fried pieces of chicken in a white buttery pasta sauce that was SWEET. It was a weird combination that should've be nasty(it looked like chicken in a pool of watered icing) but it wasn't bad but it was NOTHING close to tasting like Malaysian chicken curry. Again, it had no flavor besides being sweet from the sauce( which was like a buttery pasta sauce with sugar).

Lastly, the pad thai- it was disgusting. It had absolutely no flavor besides the WATERY SWEET SAUCE. Everything in the plate looked unseasoned and bland. The noodles were almost pale and bland. I've never had or seen pale pad Thai with WATERY SWEET SAUCE. That dish was left most uneaten for our table. Again, the dish had little flavor besides the sweet sauce.

I asked for chilli oil and they gave me this weird ketchup-y chilli sauce, even sriacha would've been better. The vinegar jalapenos that came with that chilli sauce were the only things that made the dishes taste better and less simple.

For these 4 dishes (with the addition of one tea and another drink), the total was about $120. Absolutely distasteful...

Visit 1: Beaware of paying gratuity even if you are dinning in alone. Before they were following the rule of 4 or more. But now they will charge 18% of bill even if you are going alone.

Sofa seat were torned and when I mentioned that if you are taking gratuity atleast provide good sitting place to the customer and the staff was rude and said we are not taking money for sitting we are charging for food. Would not go again due to their behavior.

Addition: Visit 2 I wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience at this restaurant. Unfortunately, it was not a positive one. Recently went there to have quality time with friends and there were instances of disrespect that left me disheartened, and the response I received was far from welcoming. Terrible servers and pathetic managers. They misbehaved with ladies with kids and the young lad there, who was portrayed as the owner was way too disrespectful. They picked up the plates with food without taking permission even when we were eating. When we told him that we were still eating instead of saying sorry he was very very rude and when we were leaving from restaurant he told us that we misbehaved with him and he also mentioned that you guys are not welcome anymore to this restaurant and chai-chanak as well.

This was the most pathetic part of his behavior. When he was picking plates I only said "Wait we are still eating". The first thing is he should have asked before taking plates which he didn't, and when we stopped him he found that disrespectful.

I must admit that this left us deeply disappointed and quite taken aback. It's important for customers to feel valued and respected, even when issues arise. I hope that in the future, there will be a more amicable approach to handling such situations. Every customer deserves to be treated with dignity and courtesy, regardless of the circumstances. As you said we are not welcome anymore, Sure, we as customers deserve much better respect so definitely will...

The 2 star awarded to this place is for courteous & attentive staff and good presentation of food. Very good Ambiance and nice clean place. The place is decorated well and has very inviting feel ... now let's meet the food and creations of Chef.

1 Chicken Corn Soup or Sweet Corn Soup .. whatever that thing was it wasn't soup. My friend was not able to take it down.

2 Jinsoy Chicken Chowmein .. my 5 year old had no complaints besides it had a particular spicy kick and she stopped after a few bites. I understand you may have a recipe but please understand the need of your patrons as not everyone likes spicy food specially kids born in USA. I requested specifically to tone down the spices for the kid. But I guess something was lost in translation.

3 Singapore Rice ... this was my first time trying this dish so I rather not give my own comments. But one of our friend suggested had a bit too much vinegar. Also spice was over powering all the sauces. It was definitely an interesting dish for me Rice over noodles over chicken over some sauce bath.

4 Jinsoy Special Chicken .. this was a major turn off as extremely salty and chicken had a distinct smell. We couldn't eat it.

Chicken Lollipop .. bland chicken wings fried and tossed in a mixture of over powering concoction of onions. I had better version of this at multiple places.

6 Mongolian Beef .. Extremely dry and spicy beef with no flavor. All you taste is rehydrated thick cut beef jerky tossed with peppers.

Over all the food was presented very well but if you are feasting with your eyes than this will serve you right and you should visit .. But if you are hungry and you want to enjoy some good fusion Asian cuisine I suggest you skip this as you may end up going home confused for paying a good amount and...
