This is in New Castle, DE and there is more to enjoy than the Read House. Our tour guide was fantastic, and it was a nice trip for my mom and I. Its was a wonderful place to learn of the history of that time, and how things were different. Coming to this quaint town is really a step back in time, with the period houses, cobblestone streets, and graves dating back to the 1700s. It is truly a beautiful historic town, and has views of the Delaware Memorial Bridge. There are other buildings you can tour, and small shops.
