7/15/22 I've tried on several occasions recently to take the drive up to the summit parking at the monument atop East Rock Park. Apparently all the PAVED roads leading up there are closed to vehicular traffic. I cannot find any explanation for these closures Whatever reason the city had for closing them should be posted at the access points, not just some orange cones with a "Road Closed" billboard sign on the ground. I'd really enjoy the ride up there on my Geezer Glide trike. I certainly am unable to walk or cycle up there at this point in my life.
