We dined here on Mother’s Day. We were seated quickly and gotten drinks. We placed an order for appetizers and got those fairly quickly but the waitress didn’t take our meal order until those arrived. The prices on the specialty Mother’s Day menu were quite high but we decided to try a pistachio pasta dish from there and then items from the normal menu, including lasagna, gnocchi, and çacio pepe. Our meals took over an hour! The waitress was not very apologetic and honestly didn’t seem phased by it. When they did arrive, they were flavorless and bland. The cacio pepe was swimming in a watered down cheese sauce which made it quite unappetizing. The gnocchi was underdone making them mushy and weirdly textured. The pistachio pasta had zero flavor and the lasagna was miniscule. Our bill was well over $200 for a meal that would have been better at the Olive Garden. I don’t know if this was because it was Mother’s Day and the kitchen had too many menu items or if they were understaffed, but I would definitely not recommend it! Too pricy for very below...
Read moreMy husband and I wanted to try a new restaurant so I picked this one and we were very happy with the choice. Nice atmosphere, great service, and the food and drinks were excellent. He had NY style fried calamari as an appetizer and he loved it. For entrees he had the short rib with mash potatoes and I had caccio de pepe. Both were excellent. We had white sangria and lemon drop shots both were very good. The restaurant was very clean and they have an outside patio where you can eat but we ate inside. Our waiter was very nice and accommodating. My husband wanted a certain dish but had never tasted one of the items it came with before so our waiter bought him a sample to see if he would like it. Our reservation was for 6 and I noticed around 7:30 it got really busy so I would suggest making a reservation if you plan on having dinner later in the evening. Overall we were impressed and...
Read moreA true Gem of a restaurant that is located just outside the city. As you enter you are greeted by smiling faces and a warm and friendly environment! Truly southern Italian, the menu transports you to southern Italy and prepares you for a wonderful culinary experience! The specials are clearly the Chefs favorite weekly creations and come served with a whole lot of Amore' ! The food quality is amazing and the serving size is perfect! I started with the grilled Octopus, which was perfectly prepared and as tender as it gets, I highly recommend this! I had the Duck and tasted the Rare Tuna special, both excellent! We finished with an espresso and gelato, a perfect Italian ending. Prices are more than fair for the quality and service and the atmosphere transports you to a southern Italy Trattoria! This Gem is truly worth the trip, we cant...
