I thought about this rating for a while. Pros and cons. Pros when i booked online, I noted some allergies. Someone from the salon called. Got some more info, sent me an ingredient list for 3ach step in my chosen pedicure. I responded and said I'd bring my own lotion since that was the only issue. Cons: no response. Tech has no idea what I was talking about. Used the lotion with the allergen (not life threatening so I just rolled with it. Pro: when she called about the lotion etc, she asked if I could come a little earlier (I booked for 630), we agreed on 6. Con: at 530 the tech called me to ask me to come early. I booked at the time I needed. If you don't want 6pm appointments, don't book them. And if your 40 min manicure takes 60, maybe adjust. Pro: the spa part was lovely. Good scrub, hot stones, hot towel wrap, great massage. Con: you were in such a hurry to rush me out the door, the polish wasn't dry and smudged. I had to go home and fix it. I don't even think it got a top coat.
Look, if you book well before closing, you're probably fine. But at the end of the day (literally and figuratively) I wanted my polish to look good for a wedding. I shouldn't have to redo it as soon as I get home. And I shouldn't be rushed out of the store. If you don't want appointments less than 1.5 hours from closing, then don't make them. It's rude. Who wants to be all rushed. Over all, I just can't see it worth more than 2 stars,...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I made an appointment for 12:00. One lady started on me on time, but had no clue what she was doing. She did my pedicure first and used cuticle trimmers to cut my toenails and cut me with them. Rushed the pedicure and then did my manicure in the same chair, asking me to hand her tools as she switched from side to side, clumsily. My girlfriend had to wait 35 minutes for her pedicure to start and it only did because she told me she wanted to leave and the lady heard her and jumped over to start. The lady that did it bounced back and forth between her and another lady just to keep her in the chair. Painted her nails the wrong color and her toenails were filed crooked. The absolute worst spa experience I’ve ever had. Won’t be going back. The owner must be really laissez-faire because I checked the reviews while I was there and saw the low rating. What’s worse is that there are no responses from the owner. I’m a business owner as well and respond to every Google review. Obviously, the owner...
Read moreWay overpriced! $43 for a gel manicure when some comparable and even better salons one less than four blocks away only charge 35 for a gel. Come to find out they charge you an extra five dollars for the soak off of your pre-existing gel. Nobody does that or if they do they just included in the price which is still less than this.
The people are unfriendly they’re not mean they are just not friendly. They have a junk pile of nail colors on the little rings but if you already know your color they still want you to go find it on there because they are not helpful. The salon itself looks pretty clean but nothing special.
My manicure was actually pretty good I had to give her a lot of directions which was difficult because she did not speak English but she did a good job. She did not do a $43 job but a good one.
My advice is Colorado and there are at least 10 spas within a 2 mile radius whose work is just as good where the buildings are just as nice and the prices are...
