Brannon Center — Attraction in New Smyrna Beach

My husband and I got married at the Brannon Center a few months ago and it was such a lovely day. For such a great location on the water, we were happily surprised with the reasonable rates. The staff were very nice to work with and everything ran very smoothly. All of our vendors were familiar with the venue which also made the process easy. They had all the tables and chairs set up and ready to go when the rental company got there with the linens. They do have a catering list you have to pick from, but we found a good variety of options on the list and with a variety of price points, so we were able to find a wonderfully tasty match (River City Catering - highly recommend!!). We had a fairly small guest list of about 50 people but having the full venue was worth it. We had the ceremony outside, cocktail hour in the smaller ballroom and then the reception in the large ballroom. The bridal room was also convenient so we had a place to put our personal things and space for ourselves to have a few moments between the ceremony and starting photos during cocktail hour. I recently had the immense pleasure of helping run a wedding at the Brannon Center, and let me tell you, I really hope I get the opportunity to attend another event here in the future.

Gregg, along with the rest of the staff, was just amazingly helpful in the day-of-event coordination, the venue itself was absolutely beautiful inside and out, and every single attendee was blown away by how simplisticly gorgeous this waterfront venue is.

My hubby and I have fished here from the docks for years. The location is very nice. There are a lot of people who walk along the river front and there is a small playground area for the kids. The fishing is not what it was years ago, but that is true for many public fishing areas these days. Over development and continued privatizing of local areas, has effected the fishing tremendously.
