The Garden Shop at Chicago Botanic Garden — Attraction in New Trier Township

Park was very nice but it all downgraded our experience when we stepped into the gift shop. Everything was at least double the price when we compared it to online prices (Amazon, eBay, Barnes and noble, etc.) Not to mention but we were yelled at twice by the cashier for touching a 2 dollar honey stick because “people were going to bite the plastic” according to her. Was just there and my grandma and mother were speaking Spanish. I’m not sure if that bothered the cashier, but when we went to pay she stemmed to bothered to give good costumer service, rolling her eyes and LITERALLY threw the receipt at the counter when giving it back to my mother who was paying. I called the number given to me by the front desk so I can complain and no one answered. I hope to get a call back because what that lady did...

Great selection of items and the collection changes with some regularity so it doesn't get stale. The discount for being a member is a nice add too!
