I visited the Nordstrom Rack store at this location on September 13, 2025, around 5:00 PM. Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience with the store management.
My Stuart Weitzman sandals had a red clearance tag of $149.99, and according to the sign in the store āextra 75% off red-tag clearance sandalsā, they should have qualified for an additional discount. The sign did not mention any brand exclusions.
When I asked at the register, the manager came over and told me that the sandals cost exactly what was written on the red tag and that they were already discounted. However, according to the promotion, this tag should still qualify for an extra 75% off. The manager left without really speaking with me. When I asked for her again, she said there was nothing she could do because some items are not included in the promotion. I explained that the sign had no exclusions listed, but she walked away to another register and then into the sales floor without finishing the conversation.
The cashier who was helping me was very polite and tried to support me, calling the manager three times. On the third time, she finally came back and said the discount did not apply because this was a ādesignerā item. She added that customers are supposed to come to the cashier to check if a red tag qualifies for the discount ā but this information is not written anywhere in the store. I asked her to show me where this policy was displayed, but she did not provide any proof.
I also want to note that a cashier from the next register was loudly making comments during my conversation with the manager, which felt very unprofessional, distracting, and inappropriate.
It is disappointing that due to unclear signage or employee mistakes, a customer ends up feeling misled. I hope in the future the store ensures managers properly introduce themselves, clearly explain policies, and that promotional signs are transparent...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had a return and when I got into the store I noticed there was no line and the 1st cashier just finished with a customer. So I asked if itās OK if I have a return there or do I need to return somewhere else. She very rudely said thereās a line. I looked over to the line and kind of pointed. There is no line but Iām like whatever so I got in the line just to be called right up. Later, the same person who turned out to be the manager Dawn comes to her my cashier because I guess I was 5 days past their return policy. I thought that if you had a Nordstrom card the return policy is extended just like Target does. She very rudely said āwe are not targetā. I completely understand if I am over the deadline Iām over the deadline and you donāt have to accept my return, but the way she spoke to me was very degrading. This is not how a manager should be talking to their customers. I have spent thousands of dollars at this store and have barely ever had a return so I was not familiar with their policy. Needless to say, I will not be shopping at the store ever again. Iāll take my business somewhere else.i feel bad for her employees. I can only imagine how she treats them . Just a miserable...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had a bad experience in Shoes Department that dissapointed me! I was trying a pair of UGG's when the sensor came out suddenly...of course i didn't take it off intentionally, the boots were a little tight on the top, where the sensor was located..It started to make the alarm noise, i was looking for an employee to stop it. In the meantime the lady, Marissa( a Latino lady), responsible for shoes approached and gave me such a ironic and mean face, like i was trying to steal those boots. Of course, I apologized for taking off the sensor, but she took them away from me without saying anything and just left! I was intending to buy those UGG's, the right size, very good princemy and super cute! That was mean, if you just could see her face! Never gonna shop there anymore! I work with customers too, but i'm always smiling and trying to help customers, not giving them attitude! If you don't like that job Marissa, just quit, but don't make the customer run away from the store! Thank you for your time! Sorry about the review, used to love your store before...
