I am beyond disappointed with this tattoo shop. I called at 1pm about getting a tattoo done. I was told that he had an opening at 6pm but that another artist might be available sooner. He told me he would call me right back. I was happy that they were able to get me in the same day because I wouldn’t have anticipated that. I cancelled my appointments for the day since I knew I was going to be going in for a tattoo at some point that day. I finally called back at 3:40pm and they told me that I should just schedule an appointment for another day. Don’t tell someone that two artists are available and that you would possibly get me in sooner than 6. You never called back and had me block out my day as I thought I would be getting a memorial tattoo for my mother who just died. Thanks for wasting my time. Jose, the owner of the shop, made the process of my first tattoo very easy for me. I showed him what I wanted and a few days later I came back in and saw the design he drew up. Unreal. Jose has paintings and sketches hanging all around the shop, and the talent that comes with it is special. We set up the appointment and before we even started he showed me what he would be using beforehand. It was my first tattoo, but it couldn’t have been done any better. Before I booked, I checked out at least 10 different shops online, and Jose’s work was undoubtedly the best. Great place! Chavez is a good guy, talented artist, and gives GOOD advice. He's brutally honest. He'll do whatever you want to do but he's experienced for a reason. He has a lot of clients that like him and his work and value his insight. Here's the deal, it's not 1974. You can't smoke inside or bring your kids (no one under 18 is gonna get anything done with or without parental consent) let alone have them hang out in the waiting room while you get inked. Don't even ask...he will tell you "NO" with good reason(s). But he's cool about it.
