14B Rooftop | Lounge — Attraction in New York

It was a great night out for a friend's bday. It was a private event but it was fun. It was very spacious, not a bunch of people. Scenery was great. Music was great. I would love to come back to this space for future events now that I know how to get there. Its not really an easy task because its not on the street. You have to go inside what looks like a construction site and then sorta follow your nose. A friend and I got lost initially in the building because we weren't sure where to go. There was no real signs to say here. Now to be fair the event we went to didn't have instructions on how to get to the area where everything was happening. We are smart cookies and figured it out, but definitely an interesting experience looking for a rooftop 😅😂🤣

Clearly this establishment does not value their patrons. They just value the almighty dollar!!!

A popular annual event was contracted here this past weekend and they breached a signed contract by refusing to admit paid patrons into the venue when it was NOT at refused to let patrons in a party that was NOT at capacity. The security was outside blaming the promoter (their client) to the patrons that they had waited 2-3 hours in 100 degree heat and humidity!

And as if that wasn't enough, they tried to continue to extort the client by requesting additional funds to cover a party that was WELL paid for in advance!

Nestled in the deepest confines of Sunset Park, 14B Rooftop Lounge harkens back to a time where parties were thrown in odd locations, well off the beaten path, with no frills and just the basics for a great time. There is no reason to be anywhere near this place unless you’re working the docks. The vibe results in a huge, open air dance floor that I’m sure will be amazing come summer.
