AG Hardware and Paint — Attraction in New York

based entirely off the fact the hours were incorrect. and that may sound a bit harsh but apparently I wasnt the only one that day so assume it happens quite often which is frustrating.. but I ran all the way over there as it was the last possible hardware store open anywhere possible and found a locked up store and the metal garage like doors pulled over the store to make sure everyone knew it was CLOSED. ran into another guy at 99 cent store across the street in their hardware aisle and had same frustrated look I did and asked if he by chance ran to the hardware store and also learned they werent open too... and he actually had the same thing happen as me and we both were stuck looking for specific hardware and tools in a 99 cent store they obviously didnt have. maybe one day when they're open and I'm nearby as in across the street or passing it and see it's open I'll go in and actually see how their store is but this review is based off not just myself but at least 2 people in 1 night having their night upended due to their inability to correctly post their hours. just dont post any at all ? it's easier that way theres no...

I have being buying all supplies i need for home and for work here for 3 years… they have basic things you need so usually i buy take a look here before ordering on amazon… i need to replace a pice and i brought it to but a exact but they didn’t have it, they had a similar one. the person in the cashier asure me the one they had was going to fit what i need but if it didn’t i could get a redound with not problem, he was very nice and polite so i bought 8 of those pieces… They didn’t work and i went to get my refund and there was someone else and who didn’t like my request and just give me a bad look, and he just seems upset and there was no more the gentle and nice customer service that I used to get there … of curse they took 15% for restocking fee… something i wasn’t told at the beginning….anyway the worst part was the attitude.. so i think i...

I have been to this hardware store many times and I never had a bad experience with the staff. Sure it's a little cluttered but it has pretty much everything you need. The man I usually see at the counter is always pleasant and most definitely speaks both English and Spanish. Also, whenever I asked for assistance he has always been helpful.

The only bad experience I had was with a customer who was insulted that I thought she was an employee. She had measuring tape hanging from her neck and she directed someone to an aisle so I asked her for help. I apologized when she said she didn't work there but she still had an attitude. When I needed to get past her a few minutes later, I said "excuse me" and she refused to move. Even her boyfriend/friend told her that she looked like she worked there. The bad reviews here are probably from snooty people...
