Taqueria Santa Fe — Restaurant in New York

Before I had a Five Star but I have to change it to One star. Reason young lady cashier was not providing friendly service. Not explaining the food properly. I ask for Jalapeño on side and she charge me extra for that, in the past they did not charge me for that. I ordered food for $50 to go and when I ask for two more sour cream, that miserable cashier told me she will charge me next time for that, in future. After spending $50 and I ask for extra sour cream is that a lot too ask? I said to her well "you are not going to see me next time!".

Is it worth loosing a $50 customer for asking two cups of sour cream?

That young lady needs to learn how to provide a service with smile , friendliness and with generosity.

A brooklyn native but first time visiting here and it was soo good. We were able to find seats really quickly while the space wasn’t the biggest it has ample space. The food was sooo good, which is not that easy to say about Mexican food in NYC but given that this is Bushwick makes sense. The service was amazing, they were so sweet and super quick. I had gotten the Barbecoa tacos special which came with barbecoa soup , barbecoa burrito and the chicken quesadillas. It was well presented and came out quickly. I was full after two tacos but it was soooo amazing you definitely have to stop by here if you’re around Bushwick. I know that it’s a little bit more pricer than other spots but hey I don’t hate on small business trying to thrive in actively gentrifying neighborhoods. 10/10 would recommend...

Last night April 21, 2023 I asked my son to pick up some tacos from my old neighborhood in Bushwick in which the restaurant is this place. I haven’t been in New York since 2020. So when I had my son go pick me up some food last night and brought it to me. The tacos are disgusting now whoever you have working in your establishment, turn off doing their job right? The meat is disgusting. It has so much fat on it and it taste old.
