After using this ‘service’ I wrote to the mayor to ask if he understood he was embarrassing his country that this is the first/last thing many international visitors see. I genuinely forgot for a minute that I was in New York and thought it was a third world country. Compared to the rest of the subway it’s absurdly expensive (I travelled for an hour to Jamaica Station for $2.50, then had to pay almost $10 for this five minute final leg of the journey). We couldn’t tap and go on our credit cards but had to queue to buy tickets – but the platform was too small for all of us to queue in so everyone just got in each other’s way. I'm compelled to write a review because everyone needs to know the best way to get to JFK airport with no delays no hassle no problems to every terminal in a very timely and efficient manner is to take the AirTran! Yeah, this is as good as it gets! Coming from Eastern Long Island from ronkonkoma to Jamaica step upstairs to the AirTran and it brings you inside every single terminal with ease and no problems!
