Shake Shack — Restaurant in New York

Atmosphere is clean but very packed in and not a comfortable place to relax and eat. Service is average an impersonal. People cooking don’t appear to care about the food they are preparing and instead come across like a machine trying to rapidly serve burgers. No attention to detail it’s all fast food behaviour. Food is quite average. I am a big burger fan and have eaten burgers around the world and can honestly state that I do not understand what all the hype is about the burgers here. If anyone rates this place higher than a two, they obviously have not had a good burger. I should mention I've seen Shake Shack staff eating at and bringing burgers for themselves from McDonald's. Nevertheless, the quality is at best average as it is, but you add airport pricing and it quickly becomes a real joke. I only bought stuff there because it was literally only one of two places that served food that was open, and this place offered warm food. I got the bacon cheese fries for $9.30. This is what I got. I had an amazing experience at Shake Shack in Terminal 8, thanks to their outstanding customer service and warm, professional mannerism. From the moment I walked up, the staff was friendly, patient, and incredibly attentive to everyone’s needs.
