Feel that I got kicked out of this place out of the blue. Google said that the place closed at 8pm so I got there around 7:15 pm thinking that I had time to buy. Nobody announced anything on the loudspeaker, so I was taking my time to do the shopping for the week. Suddenly a man came to tell me that they were closing and they shout down the lights. I feet anxious because I was halfway on my list and then I check the time on google maps thinking that I was wrong but noooo. They just decided to close early. Talk to the manager and he just apologized. I don’t know why they don’t let me finish buying. Worst supermarket experience.

This place is amazing. It’s got a variety of groceries to choose from and the price is affordable. However I found a few basic necessities where prices are high eg: oat or almond milk, cereal and eggs. I am also dissatisfied with the quality of RED APPLES. There seems to be a hole in the bottom of all the red apples and they turn yellow inside in about 2 days. My wife does not let me get anything other than red apples so it sucks that I have go somewhere else every week just to get red apples. Update: LIDL is open now so I might just shop there instead

The ONLY great feature of this market is the selection. It's huge! Prices have deteriorated to the point of ridiculous! A dozen of "Thrive " pasture eggs is $9.99 as just one example!! Ownership is shrewed. Taking advantage of current inflation, prices are much more than any competitor. I used to love shopping for my groceries here. Not anymore! Right now, you need deep pockets to shop. A short distance away is a more sensibly priced market, TRADE FAIR. That's where I shop now.

Nestled amidst the bustling mosaic of Queens, New York, Berry Fresh Supermarket is more than just a grocery store—it’s a culinary adventure. A paradise for food enthusiasts, this haven of fresh produce and quality products caters to every taste, offering an unparalleled shopping experience that is a symphony of flavor, freshness, and variety.

From the moment you step through the supermarket’s welcoming doors, you are met with a breathtakingly vibrant tableau of fresh breads.

However, it is Berry Fresh’s seafood selection that truly steals the show. Offering a tantalizing range of the ocean’s finest—be it succulent shrimp, fresh salmon, or the finest oysters—it is like having a coastal market in the heart of the city. Each seafood item, a testament to Berry Fresh’s commitment to quality, offers a promise: the delicious taste of the sea at your dining table.

In a city where life is always in the fast lane, Berry Fresh Supermarket provides an experience that is as economical as it is enjoyable. The store’s variety and value combine to offer the savvy Queens resident an opportunity to prepare lavish meals without straining their budget.

Yet, what truly sets Berry Fresh apart is its celebration of New York’s multicultural fabric. It offers a wide variety of international products, making it not just a store, but a culinary globe-trotting experience, all within the confines of Queens.

In conclusion, Berry Fresh Supermarket is an exquisite epicurean destination. Its fantastic range, top-tier freshness, and excellent value create a delightful shopping experience that turns everyday cooking into a culinary delight. This market isn’t just about food—it’s about the love for good food, and it continues to serve the vibrant community of Queens with flair...

Berry Fresh is the best! The first time I was in here, it felt like a winding maze with always more around the corner. The layout is a tad confusing at first, but you quickly realize they've just made the most of every nook and cranny. I go here for stuff I can't get anywhere else nearby; Brad's No Salt tortilla chips; no-salt tomato sauces; bags of dried hibiscus flowers; Five Boroughs Brewing Company's one-off beers (seriously can't find them anywhere else in Astoria). The enormous selection of produce - including many greens you just can't get elsewhere - has never let me down in quality, at stupendous prices. Nice bread selection, nice 'snobbish foods'/keto/organic section, a solid beer selection, and quite a lot of kombucha and other non-soda beverages. There's also a ton of Asian foods here, and a very large selection of fresh fish. There's not a huge prepared foods selection, but no big deal. I really love this grocery store, it consistently impresses me and I always find something new to try here, or the correct ingredients to try a new recipe. The staff is also incredibly nice. As someone who has worked in multiple grocery stores and pays special attention to details of them - I love...

The cashiers are extremely rude, and obnoxious! They do not even offer to help you bag your items, even when you’re the ONLY one on line.

I shop there all the time, and I have to say the only reason I do, it’s near by. At this point, I would rather travel to shop than encounter such rude employees.

Additionally, they ONLY give out PLASTIC BAGS to certain customers!! I watched one cashier hand a bunch of PLASTIC bags to a couple, then quickly threw the rest on the floor so I don’t see them. But, what she didn’t realize was that I already saw the entire thing. So I asked her for one (I had a few items and forgot my reusable bag in the car) her response was “no plastic bags allowed anymore” really?!?!? Then, proceeds to speak Asian in such an angry tone to another cashier. I guess plastic bags are ONLY allowed to CERTAIN customers! I will NEVER ever shop...
