The security guard standing by the door on Saturday, August 13th was rude and uncouth. We wanted information about how to visit our loved one, not a grumpy lecture. If they want people to send their loves here, they should change the first person they see on the way in. To be fair, the nurse who we spoke to about this was incredible kind, and promised to speak to him and remedy it, so, “two stars.”

THIS IS NOT A GOOD FACILITY FOR ANYBODY WHO CARES ABOUT THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS!!!!!!!!!! They admitted my mother in law with incomplete paperwork and placed the burden on our family to run around and retrieve these documents, as if this is not the responsibility of the facility, particularly the Admissions department or the Nursing department. As a person who has worked in a facility similar to this, I am aware of the proper channels that need to be taken for patients to have a good quality of care. Whenever we call to ask questions, they give us the run around. They have not been cooperating with her Health Care Proxy at all. They have been very difficult to coordinate with and did not have the standard family meeting that is supposed to happen upon admission. Furthermore, she has not had a care plan meeting yet. Like I said, I worked in a facility similar to this and I am aware of the EXACT protocol needed once a patient is admitted. When my husband visited her, she was sitting there with colored drool on her. We actually had to bring her medical condition to THEIR attention and request the proper medication for her. NOW WHY WOULD WE HAVE TO DO THAT IF SHE IS UNDER CARE? YOU WOULD THINK THAT IN A MEDICAL FACILITY, THEY WOULD BE AWARE OF ANY AND ALL CONDITIONS THAT SHE HAS IN ADDITION TO MEDICATION THAT SHE NEEDS TO TAKE!! Furthermore, she recently had a fall and the facility tried to blame the fall on her and another resident. The food is horrendous and the facility looks like an actual prison. They only care about financial gain. Anybody who visits will see the obvious neglect of their loved one. 0/10 recommend. I do not even know why any stars are an option. This place should be closed down. I could go on and on all day about the grief they have caused my...

Your disgusting facility allowed my diabetic father as they claim even though he could not speak, you allowed him to allegedly deny insulin and for someone that should have 3 insulin shots and one overnight daily, didn't get but 2 dosages from Friday evening to Sunday night only because I arrived and said something. You gave him sugary juice clearly not reading the discharge paperwork that he's a diabetic. When I went to the facility and lunch was brought in, no one took his sugar or provided insulin and when I asked the nurse, he stated he had no order for it and i had to speak to the supervisor. Before i can get a word out Natalia (the supervisor)clearly tried to talk over me. Once I said something to those horrible supervisors that do not do their job everyone wants to start moving. Next day he wasn't given any of his 11 medications including insulin. Began shaking profusely. Soaked pamper through the bed. They claimed they couldn't change him because he refused but they put a clean pamper over the dirty one. The next day he was worse. Fever and non responsive. This facility needs to shut down. I called the paramedics and got him out of there. By the way his sugar was 430 when I first went there not even 24 hours after he arrived. He was there for about 48 hours and this is how bad he declined. We're talking about a vibrant talkative man who's now admitted in the hospital. This facility will be reported. I will be filling a...

I was admitted to the Brooklyn Queens Nursing home for recuperation in 2022 after being in a coma for three weeks at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx. I was transferred to the Brooklyn Queens Nursing Home for physical therapy and while there I experienced considerable trauma.

While there I endured: Sub standard food that was often inedible or poorly prepared Sub standard living conditions including dirty floors, linens stained with bodily fluids and poor maintenance of bathrooms The staff often insensitively belittled, berated, and/or verbally abused me; one staff member even scolded me for asking for a bed change after a bowel movement. In one instance I expressed concern about my mental illness and was openly mocked and derided by them. I have a thirty year history with severe mental illness. Worst since I could not walk, I was left to sit in my feces, and it resulted in my father having to cause a ruckus to the staff which then prompted them to finally change my bedding Often they would withhold services like bed changes, and water I fell off my bed during the middle of the night after expressing concern to them about the bed having no railing or security bars. In the past I’d been deemed...
