Establishment seems clean bathrooms are kept pretty tidy being it's a children focused place. The games are normally in working order and if not then the attendants are usually quick to help and fix the issue. This one game has not had a ball in weeks though. It was fixed for about a day and since the machine is back to the error message "ball missing please alert attendant" sometimes the air hockey puck goes missing and so that will make 2 games that don't work. Edward is extremely helpful and friendly. He works with an actual smile on his face and name tag on his shirt. Not sure what's up with the other manager they're definitely not welcoming at all. This is being written after having the summer pass and going to solely this location for the last 6 weeks. The welcoming associates are pretty nice. The young lady in the front on weekdays is always kind and gentle with ym daughter. Note to management check in greeter should be chosen carefully. Not just anyone has the demeanor to greet and also in a way secure the place. I've left many times without mine and my daughter's arm being checked. Today being on of those times. The young man had given me an attitude at the door about a dunkin coffee being brought in. I gave him none of my energy and just took it to the car and left it behind. He wasn't gonna ruin my child's fun and put me in a mood even before the chuck e cheese experience began. After entering WITHOUT MY COFFEE he proceeded to ignore me looking past me totally avoiding contact. I got the vibe that since he snapped at me he was a bit embarrassed to now be standing next to me and still have to check me and the children in but when we were leaving again he ignored me probably trying to avoid contact and being told about the way he spoke but either way neither mine or the children I came in with were checked to see our arm numbers matched. On a very busy Sunday night I think more should be done to make sure children don't end up in the wrong hands. After all it is a POLICY, a policy I think is much more important than an outside drink being let in. The safety and enjoyment of children should be the main concern but this individual seemed to want to enforce some of the rules but not the most crucial ones. Overall I do love chuck e cheese and this location is subpar if all the employees were like Edward this place would be 5 stars. He should definitely be training ALL incoming staff and retraining some of the current staff especially his management short curly hair a smile a thank you for your patience and a your welcome makes a...
Read moreToday, I took my two autistic sons to our local Chuck E Cheese . To our surprise, they had set up a new trampoline there. When we arrived, the manager, who was the only one at the entrance, asked us to take a picture before entering. We showed our summer passes but were informed that there was an additional fee of $10 per child for the trampoline, or $20 without a play pass. One of my sons received a blue wristband, while the other was impatient and tried to start play with out his band. The manager gestured for me to come over so she could help put on the band, even though my son doesn't like others touching him. I found it strange that she couldn't let me put it on him myself. When we finally reached the trampoline, we found it locked with chains and locks. I had to find someone to come and unlock it multiple times , although I had already paid and assumed it would be ready for use. The staff explained that they operated on an "8 minutes play, 8 minutes rest" schedule to prevent dizziness or vomiting. While I understood the reasoning behind it, I felt it was inconvenient that there was no employee stationed at the trampoline at all times. This meant that we had to wait even longer for them to get the keys and reopen it. Overall, I felt that the facility was understaffed and lacking in customer service. Despite my efforts to communicate with the staff, it seemed they had a negative attitude. As my kids have autism, transitioning between activities is difficult for them, but any child would be frustrated with the long wait times and lack of information. I decided that it wasn't worth buying a pass again and would rather spend a bit more money at a different place where my kids could play freely. I would caution others to consider these factors before visiting...
Read moreI would never consider this particular place and location for another birthday party again . The event planner told me to come early to set up and go over things . Upon arrival , I was told to take a seat and wait until I was called for my party , which started at 1:30 . I sat and waited for 20 mins that some of the guest already showed up ruining the surprise for my child . Once we finally got to our table the kids weren’t given the bracelet and play card as the host told me all children needed to be present to receive it . So the kids that were already there sat around for 20 mins with nothing to do until they decided to give out the bracelet and play cards . It was very poor planning on the staff that decided to serve the pizza and the rest of the food at 3:00 also informing me that adults need to pay 2.99 for a regular cup in order to have a beverage which is outrageous. When ordering the food the manager on duty of 7-23-23 was highly unprofessional had a rude attitude and clearly didn’t want to be there and do her job and should be trained better at customer service . Once they brought out the pizza and served it they then look to do the cake leaving no time in between serving food and cake and literally telling us that our time is up and that we need to leave while handing me my piece of cake . Overall it was embarrassing how the party was set up and ran and how the staff was rude and considering the fact that we didn’t start with our party on time staff wasn’t even courteous enough to give us the...
