I’ve been to M Nails Bar multiple times mostly out of convenience and because Aley does decent nail designs. But let me be clear: the customer service is consistently unprofessional, and I’ve finally had enough. My first visit was in August 2024 for a mommy-son birthday date. Aley did my nails, and Louis did my 11-year-old son’s. Louis rushed through my son’s manicure in under 5 minutes, didn’t have him wash his hands, and laughed with coworkers in Vietnamese when I asked about it. Someone else had to redo my son’s nails properly. That was my first red flag. Still, I gave them more chances. As a cosmetologist myself, I care about experience and respect, not just the end result. I’ve had pedicures where the tech cut the skin on my ankle bone and laughed about it with Louis, and another time where I had to pull up a whole video just to explain how to treat my ingrowns — even after I explained it before removing my shoes. It was so bad, another tech had to take over again. On that same visit, Aley was rude, rushed me, and refused to do a design. Even with all that, I tolerated it because of the design work. I tip generously (usually $20 on a $55 service) and I always communicate clearly. That day, no one got a tip and that says a lot coming from me. The final straw was my wedding nails. April 3, 2025 — I was running last minute errands, and they were the only salon nearby open. I asked for anyone available, and they put me with Louis again (despite past issues) because of the design. He messed up repeatedly, ignored my photo references, did the wrong colors, and left the design incomplete. I had to keep correcting him. He finished my nails standing up, turned off his light while I was still drying, and needed another tech’s help. At checkout, they tried to charge me $73 which was higher than I’ve ever paid with no explanation other than ā€œa lot of design,ā€ even though I’ve had the same styles before. I pushed back, and the price dropped to $60 I still tipped the man. Two days later, my gel polish was peeling off. I called and was told to ask for Lucy or Kenny to fix it — but once I arrived, they placed me back with Louis again. And here’s the kicker: I ended up doing my own nails at his station while he was on his phone. No help. No urgency. Just I posted the full video on my Instagram and TikTok: @AbsolutStylezz if you want to see the reality behind the price tag. This place is all aesthetic with no substance. They overcharge, avoid accountability, rush through services, and treat clients like we’re wrong for expecting better. I’ve even referred people here but with warnings attached because I believe in giving chances. No more. Their ā€œfree wineā€ isn’t even offered unless you ask. It’s cheap sangria now, and just like the service — it’s gone downhill. If you’re satisfied with the bare minimum, you might not mind this place. But if you value your money, time, and respect speak up or go elsewhere. They understand English just fine. Don’t let their silence or smiles fool you.

Ok. So here’s the deal. My nail technician bought a house out of state (so proud of her šŸ™šŸ¾) but ever since me and my squad (sister/nieces) have been struggling to find that perfect replacement. In the beginning we would rally the troops and drive out of state to get them nails done you heard. Lol We’d make a day out of it. But since we are all going back in the office work and can’t seem to link our schedules it’s not working out. We each ventured out to see if we got lucky. But unfortunately if it’s not one thing it’s another. From either they don’t keep the technicians on a regular schedule, the nails don’t last at all to they use subpar supplies, or they aren’t detailed enough in their shaping. ( yes we are very pickyšŸ˜Ž I have no problem spending my money if I’m getting what I paid for. Trust me…. Anyway, so a fellow colleague who lives in BK and knows my struggles told me about this place. I’m like great another place to waste my money😩. Some weeks passed and not w I’m looking crazy, my feet are cutting my sheets and I bite my cuticles when my nails aren’t done (don’t judge me) it’s a nervous condition from when a kid. I get the call from my youngest sister that we need to get these nails done asap. I’m like give me 15 minutes to get ready, now in the car and we both have no clue what our destination is lol. I then remembered the referral and said how about here…. Put the address in the gps and we were off. Now I don’t frequent Brooklyn often. I go to gateway shopping here and there. I’ve seen this shopping center when passing through Bk so we knew the location just not what was in it. To get to the point they did both of our nails (two different ppl) we both got pedicures done as well and we definitely plan to go back. The establishment was clean the staff was friendly and not judgmental (I was looking crazy nail wise) I didn’t have to give instructions on what I like or wanted fixed it was just done correctly from the start. Especially my pedicure. I only do gel (on both hand and feet) and only do French on my feet. She cut my nails perfectly and used the correct shade on them. She was tipped very well for her efforts, they both were. Now the last test is to see how long they last. I’m confident they will and will be back to see both Jenny for my feet and Henry for my hands 🄰 To give you a price range I paid $146 for a full gel set and a French fell pedicure (spa pedi). Not including tip. Well worth it. šŸ‘šŸ¾šŸ’…šŸ¾ Oh yeah apparently they offer bar service (drinks/wine) I’m personally not interested. Just do my nails and I’m good. Lol that for you young folks 😜 Check them out. PS we ended up joining LAFitness the same dayšŸ¤£šŸ’ŖšŸ¾ it’s a few doors down Sorry for the long rant

DON’T GO HERE!! To preface I have been here before and they charge a luxury price for a less than luxury experience and work but it’s close to my home and so for convenience I pay it. I have tiny nails and spent months growing it out. Came in to get a gel manicure and first when drilling my nails the girl cut me multiple times. I told her and she continued doing it. My finger was bleeding with blood dripping. I continued hoping the experience would get better, it didn’t. She cut all of my nails off and did so very unevenly. I complained to her and she got what I’m assuming is the manager. He came over and didn’t say a word and red drilled my nails and cut it even more trying to fix it. There was no fixing it because of how uneven she cut my nails. I left because there was no fixing it and I’m not paying $50 for a gel manicure that wasn’t even good. Manager made no attempt at apologizing or offering acrylics to get the length back or anything. He spoke in a different language to her and all of her friends came over and she was laughing. I came in at 6:30 and they close at 7:30 so I guess she thought if she rushed and did a horrible job she could get out faster while still getting a tip. Absolutely not! Unprofessional and the management is awful. So many other places you can go to for cheaper that does a better job. If I could give this place negative stars I would. Also first review I’m writing because of how much I want to protect people from this business.

Ok. To be honest I stopped going there for a while. Pedicures were done to perfection but when it came to the way my nails were done I was over it. I got got a fill in and it was so bad. The nail tech I had was male which is no problem because I've had a nail tech b4 at another salon and he is AMAZING. So I took chance with this one. Boy was I in for a ride. He kept talking to himself talking on his phone talking to others and not paying attention to what he was doing when he came to my nails. Then after he put the filling on my nails he kept on wiping off different parts that shouldn't be wiped off to the point where when I was done part of the nails weren't even covered. I told my daughter who had referred this place I'm never going back . She said you should never go to the Mills you should always go to the females so I told her I would take another chance. I went there about a month ago to get my nails done. My daughter told me for my pedicure I should ask for jenny. Boy was she right. Jenny is amazing. But when it came to doing my nails I had to do a new set and I was so worried because all the females were booked the only people that were left were . But I didn't feel like staying around so I decided to take a chance with a male AGAIN. This time was a way better experience . This time I had anthony. He was fantastic. He did my nails to Perfection and I felt like I was back at my old nail salon. It's at a point where I made an appointment with him 3 weeks later to do my nails for my birthday . And just as he did with the first time he did an amazing job the second time. Will definitely recommend Jennifer pedicures and Anthony when it comes to nails.
