Rose Nail — Local services in New York

Had a disaster nail expierience at tomatoe nails 2 on forest Ave needed my horrible nails to get fixed ASAP so I did a quick google search to find the nearest location and ended up finding Rose Nails, walked in and was greeted immediately, told them what happen to my nails and how disappointed I was, they were quick to sit me down and give me suggestions on how to fix my nails, they were in NO rush which is what I love and look for when going to a nail salon; the lady let me choose different colors to test till I found a color I loved ! The place might not look upscale but don’t let the looks take away from your nail expierience, I recommend this place; they do a neat, clean job and very friendly. Thank you for saving my nails !! Will deff come back soon

EDIT : I recently got my nails done 4 days ago I had to go back the next day Bc my gel started to chip away and come of .... now all my gel is coming off , payed 48 for pedicure and gel manicure ... too much money and they do a fast job now a days ... they were once good but they are for sure loosing...

I drove all the way from New Jersey just to see my nail tech, Betty, who I’ve been loyal to for a long time. I specifically waited for her to come back from vacation, booked the earliest appointment in advance, and made it clear I only wanted her. When I arrived, the owner told me someone else would “start,” but in reality, they handed me off completely to another tech. This isn’t the first time they’ve done this, and it shows zero respect for their customers.

On top of that, they are never on time. Even when the salon is fully booked, they still tell people to come in and then leave them waiting 45 minutes or more for a tech. My husband also comes with me every time for spa pedicures, so they didn’t just lose me they lost two very loyal customers. This salon clearly cares more about overbooking and shuffling people around than honoring appointments or respecting loyalty....

I had an older woman do my nails. She was kind but rough. She was upset I was telling her my preferences bc she wanted to be left to do what she wanted to do. I sat back to see her process but she left the nails thick and bumpy and not shaped well at all. When I asked for her to even them out and smooth them before painting she was upset and acted as though she didn’t understand what I was asking. I got my nails done 3 days ago. And this is what they look like. I asked for this topcoat specifically bc it’s the only topcoat that lasts on me she didn’t even paint my whole nail with it. Will not be going back and do not recommend. Too expensive to have a half-hearted job done on the nails that don’t even last and...
