Found them on Craigslist, they posted an ad ("$40 service call!") but avoided putting their company name in the ad. Now I know why. Also this must be why they are loading their reviews with fake reviewers. (yeah guys, it's obvious.) I told them the problem, I told them the make of the dryer like they asked. Made an appointment, they stood me up the first day. They didn't call, I had to call them. 2nd day at least they showed up. Technician immediately says there's a problem because the screws to get the top off the dryer are too rusted, so he can't work on it. Sprays some WD40, and when that doesn't work, calls it a day. He was correct but did not want to bother drilling through the TWO rusted screws. I made him WAIT while I drilled them out MYSELF in under 5 minutes. Right there you lose major points for apathy. So he takes apart the dryer, diagnoses the problem pretty quickly, but then he tells me he doesn't have the part and has to come back. He tells me my dryer is 'too old.' (it's an older Whirlpool with the manual revolving timer mechanism.) BUT it's a BLOWN (thermal) FUSE. Seriously, how hard is it to carry fuses? "How much will it be to fix?" I ask. $185 he tells me. For a FUSE??? Please. Look 'Cesar,' I have other things that need fixing, but taking advantage of people is not a great business model. $40 visits might get you the initial business but you lose the trust and now I'm going to seek out another repairman. Charging $185 to replace a $2 part is not good business, especially when your tech drives a minivan, it's not like he can't carry it. It's a common part. Get your act together. I still shouldn't even have to pay for another service call for your tech's neglect to carry spare parts.
Addendum: So he calls me a 'very particular individual.' Yes because I'm wary and suspicious of companies like yours that want to overcharge me for small parts. And you have more than justified that opinion. Like I said, you were about to leave because you were clearly unprepared for the job, and you were unprepared by not carrying...
Read moreUnfortunately the service I got from Cesars was unprofessional and unresponsive. I had a problem with my oven and they charge me the service fee which is fine on the first visit. On the second visit, they came with the diagnosed part to replace and it didn't work. Okay I think it happens, so I hoped they called me with a new diagnosed, I called them the next day, he cut me off saying that they were very busy, and he will call me back. I didn't get a call back(I thought to myself perhaps they are very busy), But I called them numerous of times during the week to get an update, they were not responsive, left messages, nothing they never called me back. I asked my husband to called them from a different phone number and they replied immediately(what a surprise), once he told them he wanted an update they said they will call in 20 minutes which they didn't. We called them again the day after and they said that they will provide us with a new part, but if it doesn't work we will have to paid for the part that didn't work. Why would I do that? It would have been easier, and I would have appreciate it if they would have said I'm sorry sir WE CAN'T FIX YOUR OVEN instead of ignoring my phone calls, wasting my time, and telling me that they will charge me for a part that is not going to work, because it is obvious that they didn't know what was the problem, and they just wanted to charge me. I never had and issue with an established company that they will ignore their customer because they didn't know what the problem was, I would have been thankful if they would have been honest and professional instead of ignoring my numerous phone calls, and I gave them the benefit of the doubt that they were just probably busy, but they were just...
Read moreWe were having a problem with our Samsung fridge and needed someone to come repair it. I found them on the internet and called. I spoke with Cesar and explained what the problem was. He was very nice over the phone and took the time to explain things to me. He was very knowledgeable about the fridge and knew exactly what was wrong with it. He explained what he needed to do to fix it and what the cost would be (very reasonable). Not only did he fit me into his schedule for the day, he worked with my schedule. He came at 8:00 pm and stayed until he finished! He installed a kit that was needed (which surprisingly he had with him!) which was great because I didn't have to wait another day or so to get it fixed!!! It's day 3 and the fridge is working perfectly!! He text me a couple days later to make sure everything is working fine and told me to let him know if something is wrong! Very professional, reliable and nice! Will definitely call him again if something needs fixing and would recommend to anyone who needs help with their appliances! Thank...
