Ave P Deli — Restaurant in New York

It pains me to write this but I just can't keep coming here anymore after 3 years. My order has been gotten wrong many times, especially by the night guys, but I let it slide because the morning guy on the grill is amazing, making absolutely great bodega sandwiches. But for the last 2-3 months that I've been coming in the price has always been different. They up prices every few months and every single time the owner is behind the counter I get charged a different amount for the same order. Now I see the owners arguing with customers more times than not, usually because of the same issue. It's just a shame to see them hurt and lose regular customers for the sake of a few dollars...

Do not order from here on GrubHub. They’re constantly messing up my order but I always gave them multiple chances because it was just minor mistakes. This time I ordered chicken over rice with hot sauce and white sauce on the side. Not only did they put the sauces over the dish, they added BBQ sauce which I did not ask for. I really don’t like BBQ sauce. It’s really a hit or miss with this store if you order on GrubHub or online. The times when they do follow the requests, it tastes delicious. But idk if I’m really willing to risk ordering from here. It’s truly disappointing since I liked...

The employees of this deli are aggressive and extremely violent. We were passing by this evening after having sushi with friends, when they came running out and attacked my friend thinking he was someone else or thinking that he was mocking them in the window. They stormed out punching him in the face and knocking his front teeth out. We were horrified and in shock. 911 was called and my friend was taken to the hospital. We will be pressing full charges. Very dangerous...
