Dollar General — Attraction in New York

The staff was extremely rude, especially the dark skinned lady with short hair, and the short and tall dark skinned man who was there yesterday. They had a bunch of Clarence items in opened boxes in the isles and in carts, so we were going through the boxes when the dark skinned lady with short hair approached my daughter and made a slick comment, i left that alone....but what got me was when she came to me and told me i couldn't go through opened boxes laying on the sale floor i said ok and walked off only to hear her smart comment abiut she doesn't know why people dont have common sense... well i then said to her if its ooened boxed not close and left to.be displayed on the sales flokr i wasnt aware we werent suppose to touch it.....she walked away angry talking a bunch of rude remarks about us....this by far the worst thing I've ever...

I did an online order because it was convenient since I am pregnant nevertheless when I got to the store it was busy the cashier line. I told them I have an online order and the guy said to wait a few minutes, that then turned out to be 30mins; within this time I asked the guy if he wants me to join the line he said no.... but he waited until the line was done before assisting me. When he finally decided to get the order he had to then get the items off the shelf. Which was then another 30mins. Now had he open his mouth an say this I could of got the stuff or stood online. So at this store there is no customer service. Finally it was my first time at dollar general and to be honest it's nice they had a deal on certain items but it's not worst shopping at a store with no customer service and under staffed especially if you drive and have...

Store seems to be fairly new and revamped but the Aisles were empty, bare and messy!

Update!!!! From 2 yrs ago.... horrible management!! Prices are a hit n miss. On multiple occasions i arrived at this store to pick up a item that wasn't clearly priced. I shouldn't have to pick up 5 bags of charcoal to lug around the store to find a price scanner to figure out the cost!!!

And the "clearance shelf" is a joke!!.. i will update with pictures next time. But i had a whole case where there was about 40 bottles of sunscreen neatly placed on the clearance shelf with a sign saying 50% off. Just to get to the register to find them "regular price" and the manager wants to argue that im wrong for thinking the would be on clearance because even tho they were placed there. There isn't a clearance sticker on the items 😐.
