I ordered the Heavenly Dawn DELUXE arrangement online the night before my uncle's wake for my parents. I called Anthony's Flower Farm the next morning to confirm that my order was received and would be delivered on time. I also told the florist that my dad was very close to his brother so I wanted to make sure the piece would be beautifully done. He assured me that it would be, and he also mentioned that he did not have yellow Gerbera daisies but would use orange ones instead. I told him that would be fine.
When I got To the funeral home and saw the arrangement, I was completely dissatisfied with it. The arrangement was supposed to have yellow sunflowers, orange gerbera daisies, cream colored roses and carnations, but there were NO SUNFLOWERS and NO GERBERA DAISIES at all. It was filled with carnations and baby's breath... and there was nothing DELUXE about this arrangement! In fact, my arrangement was the smallest one there. It definitely did not seem like it was worth $200 and it was so different from the one advertised online. I immediately called to speak to the florist and told him that I was not satisfied with the arrangement. Rather than offer a solution, he got angry with me and argued with me the entire time. I told him that I would be ok with him coming back to fix the piece. Initially, he told me there was nothing he could do because it was Memorial Day weekend and he wasn't available to come fix it. I then asked for a refund and was told I could have $25 back. He also stated that he would come back that evening and take the flowers back because he wasn't going to "lose out". He also called me "nasty" and told me I had an attitude problem. I guess this place does not abide by "the customer is always right"! After telling him that I would be contacting his boss, he offered to come fix the flowers on Monday. Although he came to fix the flowers, I was still not pleased and was completely appalled by how I was treated while grieving my uncle.
Once the funeral was over, I sent an email to Anthony's Flower Farm explaining what had transpired. I did not receive a response. I then called and spoke to Cathy the manager. She asked me to text her a pic of the arrangement so that she could see exactly what we received. I immediately sent her the pic. I waited and waited, but she never responded back. Today, my mother went to Anthony's Flower Farm. She again expressed how unhappy she was with the arrangement and the treatment we received. However, the florist insisted that there was nothing wrong with the arrangement. He also stated that I shouldn't have waited 2 day to call and complain - I DIDN,T.... I called the same day the piece was delivered (phone records can prove that). He also stated that Cathy, the manager, offered to send a bouquet of flowers - SHE DIDN'T... I NEVER heard back from her. Ultimately, my mom told them they could keep our money and that she would never use them or refer anyone to them again.
BOTTOM LINE .... This was, by far, the WORST customer service I have ever received... Especially while grieving the loss of...
Read moreNEVER EVER USE THEIR "WEBSITE" . I placed a $140 order on their "website" at 11:10 am (I have the confirmation), to be delivered the next day. Keep in mind their website offers same day delivery up until afternoon. I called around 3pm, just to confirm they received my order. When they finally found my order, they said I ordered too late and that 3pm was not enough time. When I explained the order was placed much earlier, the male argued that it wasn't. I literally had to yell over him that I had a confirmation that was time stamped. This is when he switched his tune, and explained that they no longer carry the flowers I ordered, so they couldn't do it anyway. When I asked who was going to contact me, the customer, the male responded "I was just gonna call before you did" (of course.). I then argued that unavailable items should not be listed on their website and he responded "how am I supposed to know what's up there [website]". Gross. I asked when the manager would be in, they stated 5-5:30, and hung up. I called again at 6, only to be told the manager wasn't there. The woman then said "I don't know what you want me to do. I'd be angry too. He says he's coming in and doesn't, I can't do anything about it". Finally, they called the owner who said he would cancel the order, offered no apology and even had the audacity to suggest I stop "using websites and call directly". Because it's my fault this company is unable to run THEIR OWN website. This "business" should get an award for worst professionalism and customer service. Thankfully Ava's Rainforest was able to fix their mistake last minute for me. Avoid at all costs. They are the reason people avoid...

As a business owner you should never be spoken to that way as a good business you should allow the person to show their ideas to understand what they can and cannot do unfortunately he couldn’t do anything I showed him so I am happy at the end result with new florist on treamont ave called saritas always allow the customer to feel comfortable and at ease especially when they are doing...
