Hair IB — Attraction in New York

Update: it lasts about 3months on my hair and I only used the products that I bought from this place , its kind of pricy for this duration and it was NOT formaldehyde free

I got Brazilian keratin treatment type D here for first time , they were organized and didnt waste any time ( I made online appointment before) , the service was satisfying. They started with some info about the choices and their pros and cons and the prices, THEIR TIP AMOUNT IS 20% AND MORE . I think its customer's right to CHOOSE the tip amount based on satisfaction and its not nice to make it compulsory , but at least the bright side was that they mentioned it at arrival so I could decide between staying or leaving !! For hair treatments you are gonna spend 2-3 hrs there and they give you an Ipad for watching Netflix or you can bring your own staff to make yourself busy ! They don't offer drinks so bring your own mug if you think you will need it and if you are super sensitive to chemicals you'd better bring a mask with yourself or ask them to give you one. The only negative point during the process was that once they used a comb with hair in it on my hair and they had to change it and used a clean one ! I will update this review after few months about the long term result...

I've been going here for a couple of years now and it's definitely my go to salon! It's a no frills place, so if you're expecting a full spa-like experience, you will be turned off. No one will ask you if you want tea or coffee or offer a massage, etc. But they will give you an amazing cut each time, and you will leave super happy with your hair. I usually just walk in here because I'm not very picky about who does my hair (everyone's been really great!). But you can make appointments if you need to.

I've also gotten digital perms here with different stylists and results have always been consistently great. My hair is very thick and takes curls really well and my perm always comes out natural, wavy and very easy to manage. When I style it on my own it looks like I curl my hair every morning, which of course is bananas.

I recently cut all my curls off and got a significant cut with Eunha and it's so great! She listened to what I wanted (long bangs) and suggested ways to make that work for my head shape and gave me really fun layers. She also styled my hair so pretty too. All for just $30.

Come here for really affordable hair treatments and cuts. Don't expect 5 star service. If that's what you are looking for, you're better off paying much more...
