I can’t say enough good things about this pizzeria! From the moment you walk in, the warm and inviting atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do.
The pizza itself is next-level — perfectly crisp crust with just the right amount of chew, a flavorful sauce that tastes fresh and balanced, and generous, high-quality toppings that never feel overdone. You can tell every pie is crafted with care.
We tried a few different options, and every single one was excellent. The classic Margherita was light yet flavorful, the specialty pies were creative without being gimmicky, and even the garlic knots and appetizers were outstanding.
What really sets this place apart is consistency — every visit feels like a guaranteed great meal. Whether you’re grabbing a quick slice or sitting down with family and friends, you’ll leave happy (and full!).
If you’re a pizza lover, this spot is an absolute must-try. Easily one of the best pizzerias in the...
Read moreI picked up my order today, and Helen, who identified herself as the manager, had an incredibly condescending attitude. I asked for red peppers on my pizza, and she acted confused as if my request was unreasonable. It’s a pizza order, asking for red peppers shouldn’t be complicated.
I also requested some plates since I ordered the family lunch special for $27, but she flatly said NO! That response, along with her tone was disrespectful! Helen did not smile or greet anyone, she seemed visibly annoyed that customers were even walking in. This is not the kind of attitude a manager should have toward paying customers.
I strongly recommend replacing her with someone else who understands basic customer service and knows how to treat customers with respect. To operate a good business, you need someone welcoming and professional at the counter, not someone who drives loyal...
Read moreLet me start off saying that I grew up in Bensonhurst when it was still 80% Italian. Basically raised with Italian pizzeria throughout my entire life at every corner. I'm not the type thinks Lenny's, and L&B pizzia are good but I appreciate the basic standard no frill pizzerias. With that said, the pizza in Mikes and son is very off, especially the one I purchased 2 weeks ago. The crust is too soft and it soaks up all the oil from the cheese. I felt like I'm eating an oily sponge and honestly wanted to vomit (which never happens before from eating any pizza). The cheese is also weird tasting. I don't know what cheap substitute they used but it's awful.
Also the girl who answers the phone can be a bit more nicer. I ordered from here 3x before and each time she is awful as if she is annoyed I even...
