Went here a couple weeks ago and bought a ceramic bin that had some damage (a scratch) on it and the cashier gladly gave us the standard 10% off, no questions asked. Came back today and found the same bin but in white and wanted to get it to match. I saw it also had damage - a black scratch through it, and it was the last one. When I got to the register I told the girl who was ringing me up about the damage expecting her to give me the typical 10% off, not return policy for damaged items. Instead she takes the item to the side and tries to wipe off the scratch, she then shows it to her manager and after 10 minutes finally comes back to show me she could not remove the scratch but her manager said no to the discount. I was so confused since she couldn’t get rid of the damage so I said can I speak to him? He takes his time but finally comes over and proceeds to argue with me that the damage is not damaging enough for the freaking standard 10% off. I’m like I shop here all the time, and I explain to him about my recent visit where I bought the same item in black and it was also damaged and they easily gave me the discount. He was so rude and did not care. I obviously put it back and won’t be shopping at home goods going forward. I’ll stick with Amazon. Don’t gotta deal with unpleasant customer service and waste my time. Let’s see how long home goods lasts with a manager like that. I give yall 5 years TOPS. lol. That’s generous. Amazon is...
Read moreOne of the better HomeGoods in the area. Every time you go there, you will get something new and different (a lot of new things with different styles). Also the things you find here, they are unique in some way because a lot of things you find here you can't find anywhere else. (This is also bad in a way because if you really like something, get it right away or you won't get it if you come back next time). If you are here to buy one or a couple of stuff, you will end up buying dozens of items (good or bad in some way). The store is also well organized and things are in good shape (not broken/damaged/missing parts). Also a good amount of cash registers are open for fast service. The price is also reasonably good. Plenty of parking is available in front of the store because this HomeGoods is located at Bay Terrace Shopping Center. For me it's a great experience at this HomeGoods, Bay Terrace Shopping Center,...

Although an employee was at the door seemingly maintaining capacity, inside the store was a disaster.
Staff at the Bayside location do not confront shoppers without masks, or assist in social distancing. In fact, one employee with some wretched Karen in tow, practically climbed over me to reach some awful wall decor for the mouthy mess that was breathing down my neck. I had to tell them both to get away from me and Karen ran her mouth and the employee walked away.
The arrows on the floor mean nothing to the shoppers and the staff. Everyone went in any direction they liked and there were too many people in the store.
I will not be back at this location. It was unsafe and stressful. The management and staff at this location are reckless, not to mention the overly...
