James Forten Playground — Attraction in New York

This place is one of the few playgrounds that have used toys for children of all ages to play with that have been donated by families that do not need them any longer. This park also includes a lot of running space along with a huge jungle gym for younger kids and a huge jungle gym with three sl ides for older kids. Big playground with different spaces. It can be hard to get kids to leave here; one tactic is to suggest they ride one of the donated toy vehicles down the hill towards the gate.

This playground is, by far, the most toddler/child inclusive & and family-friendly playground I have ever visited in Brooklyn. There are numerous age appropriate toys & equipment for young children. The moms, dads, nannies & daycare staff that frequent the playground with their little ones are all friendly & caring. But the icing on the cake for me was that the playground has a strong iron fencing around the entire park with only 1 gate being used.
