hello to everyone, today 01/18/24 is Sunday my day off, I got my full body massage 60 min, scheduled with appointment at 12:30 pm, I had pain on my neck and shoulders since 2 days, so I decided to do massage in Prospect Spa, in front desk very kind men, employees very polite, the massage is amazing, especially she focused on my pain area, price reasonable, atmosphere is with low meditation music to feel more relax, I really enjoyed fully, I will come again and again definitely & I'm recommending to everyone to try, Thank you prospect spa and employees

This is a great and magical place for the masseur vivan to eliminate my fatigue. Let my body relax and be full of energy. Magical Himalayan energy stone. Olive oil is great! The price is reasonable! I will come next week!

Definitely recommend! Got a full body massage and foot massage and I can’t wait to go back! The masseuse hit just the right spots!

Decided to treat myself to a last minute massage on a Friday evening after work. Called ahead and they were super responsive. Booked an hr long slot for $55 but owner did share that there would be surcharges for using a card.

Location is clean and accessible. Plenty of street parking. Just be aware that on Fridays from Sept- Nov the street parking is canceled for Open Streets NYC where folks dine in the street so you’ll have to use the side streets.

Arrived at 4:00 PM and was seen immediately. Amy my masseuse instructed me to remove all clothing( except underwear ) and lay face down on the massage table. I settled in as spa sounds and lemongrass scent helped me to relax into the ambiance of the space . She gave me a dry rub for the first 10 mins ( sheets on). She then applied her first layer of oil and with the right amount of pressure worked out my trigger points and knots in sections. She then applied a second layer of scented oil and gave a deeper level of rub. There were plenty of really painful moments but not because of her. I had been holding a lot of tension in my mid back.

Over the next 30-40 mins she worked each area intentionally and then applied the hot stone and gave me a soothing rub for an additional 10 mins leading to the end of our session.

I took one star away because in comparison to another establishment, the massage wasn’t as complete. There were areas that were completely overlooked, such as my thigh. Also, some practices allow you to add on the foot massage for an additional price. At this location, I wasn’t offered that option. If you know about reflexology, you know how important the feet are and so addressing the larger parts of the body and neglecting the feet isn’t holistic.

I’d probably return but design my package myself ( as much as they’d allow). Again, fairly good massage- just not complete...

Watch out!!!! Absolutely would not reccomend. Please save yourself the trip, headache, and maltreatment! We arrived a little late due to traffic and poor weather conditions which they knew about. (They call to see if you're on your way.) They wanted to cut back the time since we were late which we completely understood and managed to agree on getting the 60 mins. Ha! Jokes on us because they cut our time short (45 mins)...walked out the door and still charged the $55. When we had called the man had said it would be $50 for cash. Either way we paid the amount, we did not want problems. The lady at the front desk was not going to accept the payment unless tip was provided ALONG with payment. Which by the way, she had stated, '$20 is good". Excuse me?? Massage was very rough, I woke up with shoulder pain, it was definitely rushed. As soon as the ladies were done with our massage they ran out the door and did not even say goodbye, they were rushing to the other location. When she had to give our change back she slammed the money on the counter. Disgusting Customer service we will not be coming back at all. The lady at front desk had even called the manager to tell him to tell us to please give a tip for her "hard work." Unbelievable. He said it's up to you if you would like to tip. Okay, then no need for the harrassment?!? We said thank you, bye. To which the front desk lady starts screaming in her language and I'm sure they were not nice words. It was very upsetting, they do not have a way with people , much less human decency or respect for others. Please listen to the reviews, we were under the assumption that this place was not at all related to the other one and to our surprise...it the same, to which they made us walk to THIS location. I will be leaving this same review on the other one to...

Place is your typical Chinese massage place. Curtains as dividers nothing fancy. Ladies working their who weren’t massaging clients were talking loudly the entire hour. The lady who massaged me spent most of her time on my upper body mostly traps and lower back to a point I was getting sick of receiving it. She barely spent any time on my legs. And the sequence of massage was so out of order. Not sure if I would go back. I’ve been to other Chinese spots that do a way better job then here. Maybe for foot massage but for body works, I’ll skip it.

For a follow up response to your response:

It was not the customers that were loud. It was your worker who was constantly loud. I do not mind chatters , clearly she was upset about something and continued to be loud thru out the hour.

Also my masseus was only focusing on one area. Was not aware of proper body treatment. My ankles are fine . Not sure where you received that information.

Second you called me relentlessly for two days on my phone during work hours in order to have me remove this post. Leaving me voicemails to have me comem in again for free if I removed this post.

I think it’s only fair for customers to be aware the negative experiences as well as the good experiences. Also how many people removed their reviews due to...
