Going to this restaurant is like being an unwitting participant on the show kitchen nightmares. Where do I even start?
They made us wait 40 minutes for our reservation. When we complained, they promised to comp appetizers, but once we were seated, they explained that it was our fault for expecting to be seated on time, as everyone else also got reservations for the same time, causing the backup. They then said that they would not be doing anything to make up for the wait.
Once we were seated and ordered, we watched our appetizers be delivered to another table, who confused it for a comp because they too had to wait so long for their table. I then watched the waitress walk over to the table and explain to them that they would have to pay for the appetizer because they ate it even though it wasn’t theirs, even though it was the waiter’s fault for bringing it to the wrong table.
No one paid any attention to us unless we flagged them down. As this restaurant has maybe eight tables, ignoring us and all other patrons this thoroughly seemed to take actual effort on the part of the staff. Toward the end of the two hour + meal, I just started walking over to the bar and grabbing a pitcher and refilling my party’s drinks myself. The waitress made eye contact with me and gave me a look I can only describe as telegraphing, “thank god, you’re finally making yourself useful.”
There were six people in our party. Our entrees came out between 10 and 30 minutes apart with no apology or explanation, so that when the first person was finished eating the last person was just getting their meal.
After much discussion (and two incorrect checks, both of which took 20 minutes to flag down from the waitress), our party decided not to tip. When the waitress, who had been nothing but rude the entire night, heard this, she finally paid attention to us and tried to convince us that we needed to write down the tip BEFORE she ran my card, as she stood over my shoulder watching. I did not tip.
The food was not worth being made to feel like we had foolishly invited ourselves to a dinner party where the host hated us and resented us for coming into her home, which is a bad way to feel in a restaurant we paid to patronize. The worst service...

This time was different it was mid day saturday and the staff was horrible. 1.Upon entering the restaurant we were denied our request to move to a larger table. The table we were denied was then offered to a white couple whom Walked in without a reservation. (I know, because I asked them if they did. ) 2.When I got my drink a ginger albeit had something in it. I raised my hand to alert the server however she was too preoccupied with her phone. After 5 mins she finally looked over. I alerted her of the issue and asked for a closed can. With an annoyed attitude she brought over an already poured drink. Totally disregarding what I asked for. She never checked on us after we received our food. No the restaurant was not busy. We were also her only table. When the check arrived she automatically added a 20% gratuity to my party of 2.The menu has a clause that states parties of 5+ will be applied an automatic gratuity. I addressed my concern to the other server who delivered our check. He removed it I decided to not leave a tip. I was not pleased with her service and believed she acted very rude. Here is where it gets down right harmful. Upon getting up to leave her and the male server blocked my guest and I from exiting the table without leaving a tip. He placed his arms up and told us we could not leave. She got in our faces and told us that they will call the cops on us because we did not tip. Now we paid our bill for the meal and drinks we purchased but decided not to leave a tip because the service was not deserving of such. Read moreI placed an order on their official website. When I arrived at the store I was told that the order was not there. When I showed them my order number they were able to locate the order but told me they could not complete it because they could not grill the fish. I removed that item from my order and proceeded with the rest. They did not refund me for the order removed and said it would go back to my card in 3-5 business days. I was not pleased with this option because they already had an issue locating my order.
When I arrived home, I tried the drunken noodles that I ordered with them. It was extremely spicy even though I put mild. I called and asked them if I could bring it back later today or even tomorrow so that it can be remade and the male on the phone refused to accommodate me. He even hung up the phone on me. I will not be back at this establishment.
I am editing to add a response to the Muse team : I appreciate your response, but I have to clarify some inaccuracies in what you stated.
First, you claim that you refunded everything from my bill—this is not true. You told me the refund for the removed item (grilled fish) would take 3–5 business days, but I have not yet received it. At the time of pickup, I was told there was no immediate refund available.
Second, I never received a remake of the drunken noodles. I specifically asked if I could return the spicy dish and get a mild version either that day or the next. The person I spoke with on the phone refused and hung up on me. So no, I did not pick up a new order—because I was never given that option.
Lastly, I find it unprofessional to accuse me of returning repeatedly when this was my first and only visit with a complaint. If you’re confusing me with someone else, that further highlights the poor record-keeping and customer service I already experienced.
