Kulture Vibes Barbershop — Attraction in New York

This review is for both my 5-star barber, Rob, and the 5-star shop itself. To me a haircut is a weekly ritual that's gotta have me feeling better when I leave than when I entered, must be enjoyed with music and decor and upkeep that are on point, and where the employees make me want to come back - this is Kulture Vibes.

My barber - like most of us, I want a highly skilled, safe, friendly barber. Rob is beyond the best in all those regards. He is personable, smart, and fun to talk with, and his fades, lines, and overall style is pure art - that's saying a lot for me with my receding hairline yet Rob still sends me away looking fresh. It's like asking for a painting but only giving the painter 1/2 the paint… amazing really. My spouse (has a full head of hair) also gets his cuts with Rob and always comes out sharp.

The shop - the place has got to be clean, look good, and help me relax. The owner at Kulture Vibes, Mac, knows just how to make it perfect and knocked it out of the park! Its spotless, kept up, plays great music, and it looks like the inside was done by an interior designer - not too much, not too little, elegant yet casual. Mac greets everyone and genuinely appears to want us to feel like we're in a high end salon with a kind, down-to-earth crew.

As I see other barbers' clients come and go it's obvious that high standards and a team vibe really do matter - the whole crew impresses me with their talent, professionalism, and personality. My advice - choose this shop and don't look back. Thank you Rob,...

I was looking for a really good barbershop that I know I could trust me with my son and boyfriend. I came across this by googling barbershops with the area. Maac is AN AMAZING BARBER VERY personable, welcoming and understanding. He welcomes you into the shop as if he knew for a long time. The shop is so clean , fun to be in and they are always playing some jams of all types. My son enjoys getting his haircut from Maac believe it or not he’s now the one asking to get haircut just because of the way Maac is with him while he’s cutting his hair. Boyfriend enjoys this place because Maac asks questions before cutting and wants to make sure he does what you ask of him. Maac you are the bomb and if anyone is looking for a barbershop within this area Maac is your go to guy !! Thank you for just being you that’s well appreciated you don’t find that now and days....

The shop is proper, legit, clean, professional, organized, and most certainly; it promotes a relaxed at home feeling type environment. Mac ( the owner) has a long standing record of elite experience himself. He is an artist. He only keeps the best barbers around him so either way your getting an excellent outcome from the barbering services they provide. I personally had the pleasure of Mac attending to my hair needs and he is beyond excellent. The work he does is individualized previously and the result is unmatched from any other place you could go. The customer service experience is top notch. You feel at home in this place while your there. He also is an amazing great human being. He does everything with heart. This same sentiment translates across the whole shop.
