Hi, this review has been long coming. *First a con: The vehicle I got, was in need of detailing because there were pet hair all over the vehicle, literally all over. The rep had said it was cleaned prior. I thought a regular car wash/ clean could do it then, but. It took many to make it like I wanted it or could really feel comfortable driving in it( as being a clean vehicle) The pros to that was: I went back to pick up my plates ( as I was from out of state) and I told the men in that department my concerns , and even showed them the inside of the vehicle. They apologized and accommodated me and my concerns and they made a more thorough clean almost immediately. ^I just wanted that color and that size trunk in a vehicle and thatās the reason I still took that vehicle seeing pet hair visible to me at that time in a proclaimed cleaned vehicle. Well so much to learn about the furry animals they leave trails everywhere, š lol. **So ensure that you have no pet hair visible to your eyes, or else youāll be in for new findings in other places.
**Secondly; Almost everything else(smile): The process was fast, the options were vast, the representative was efficient. They even had an in house rep for immediate auto insurance.
^(The insurance coverage was too expensive for me and almost let me not get my vehicle, because according to that broker, I only had one option, because I had incidents recorded under my name. But of course I got a much lower coverage with another insurance carrier outside of Major World onsite broker. She/ the auto insurance onsite broker was polite and patient too. But I just couldnāt accept her conclusion/prices on getting auto insurance through her. Remember, everyoneās quote for coverage is unique.)
Now Sam my /the representative who took my information and showed me the vehicles was like I said very efficient, friendly, knowledgeable he really wanted to ensure that I walked away with a vehicle, same day-no money down. I almost did, but the insurance was the set back.
^ (refused that coverage. The rate was so high and I was told only one option of a carrier for ME. So that delayed me walking away same day. However, I returned with coverage at a lower rate from a broker outside of Major World).
**It was a one stop-shop, like Sam told me. They took care of everything. I simply supplied my information, and ID.
^The broker/ loan representative was very friendly and all, except my initial loan officer ran my information too many times( more than 2x) to varying lenders. Ensuring I get a loan for the vehicle ( fulfilling his job) a pro. But, I only learnt this afterwards when I saw my credit report (smh). To me thatās not good. I donāt appreciate that way how, hence I see that as a con.
^^^There was an error with parts of a personal information and that changes the initial plan that I had set out to do with the auto process. (This can be seen as a con for me). @However, I cannot say for sure who made the error (Sam my rep who noted it or my companion who gave his information). @@@But, as a professional you always MUST reconfirm any information that was communicated to you by the client or customer, because it can be damaging. As right now that lowers the rating here for Major World.
The price of the vehicle could be classified as high, but with the tariffs now, it seems to be fine. Gods willing all is Wellšš¾šš¾šš¾!
*šš½So I average the experience there a 3 star: āš °ļøšÆ: Professional, Efficient , Kept their word/Trust, One-stop-shop, No money down as advertised, Determined. āšš¾: Error, Pet Hair, Multiple inquiries of/ to lenders without my knowledge.
Despite the cons, I would recommend Major World and Sam my Representative. I would say ask upfront on these issues before hand, and you should be fine. Thanks Sam šÆ. Thanks...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStay AWAY.. greedy greedy finance managers not even the sales managers. I came to the dealership on Saturday for a car. Yes my credit was challenging but with an co-signer and good paying JOB Ivan , the blonde haired lady who sits at the front desk and lefty was able to get a deal on the table for me. First they offered me a honda 2017 with 106,000 miles..the bank said no because the car was in accident. Most of their cars were in accidents, have no title, salvage or straight lemons. They tried to force me to take Chevy equinox 2022.. I said no .. so I ending up picking out a 2022 Nissan Altima after signing paper work and putting $4500 down Federico the finance manager told me that I couldnāt get the car due to inspection and servicing and I had to wait until Sunday or Monday. I spoke to him Sunday and he said ā he had no drivers to do the inspection & he will call me back.ā He Never did. Monday arrived and the bank called me to speak with me and asked if I had the car. I told them I was coming in to major world to pick it up due to being service today. On Monday 03/04/2023 Federico the sales manager told me when I came in I couldnāt get the car until crescent trust bank funds the account even though he had an approval code. The bank told me they wonāt fund the account until I get the car. Tuesday 03/05/2024 same outcome I couldnāt get the vehicle until the bank funds the account. The bank wonāt fund the account because they are verifying information which I understand but holding the car hostage because you didnāt get your money right then and there from the bank even with an approval code is crazy. He had me sign for my plates making me believe I was leaving with the car told me to call the bank to tell them I got the car only to call the bank back & they said they wonāt send money until my employer was verified⦠after hanging up he told me I canāt get the car today so all in all he wanted money. Iāve been spending my money for 4 days straight back and forth to the dealership to get the car. Federico would not release the car and his reason is the bank didnāt fund the account. The bank told me funding the vehicle has nothing to do with me getting the car. Federico the finance manager & Sergio with that ponytail who is suppose to be the senior manager knows whatās going on and they all sit in the office talking about houses & eating while you sit there and wait like an idiot. Horrible tactics to try and get money from the bank faster itās crazy and horrible. I wouldnāt recommend this place. Stay away I ended up cancelling my deal. This place is crazy and should be investigated & will have lawyer look into this because they ran my credit only to extort the bank into giving them money faster. They think because your credit is bad that nobody will want you but thatās not true. Donāt let them try to intimidate or make you feel like other dealerships wonāt accept you because your credit can be...
Read moreSaturday, April 5th, I brought my fiancée to Major World, where I purchased my current car. Since I had an awesome experience, I hoped & figured it would be a similar one for him. We got there, and we're met by Omar Hernandez, a (client advisor) he took us into meet Franco (last name unknown) to go over what we wanted to spend & crunch numbers. Once that was established, we were brought outside by Omar & found 3 vehicles. We then were brought back inside to see if the monthly payments were what we were comfortable spending. They were on the higher side, so we again went back out to look for cars under 20,000.00 (by the way, there aren't any that can be financed) we were told CASH SALES ONLY for the half of a handful we saw. Omar, & all the staff at Major World are very knowledgeable, helpful, cunning and at the end of the day, they are doing their job... On our 2nd time going outside to look at vehicles we found another 2 cars, and I asked for my fiancée to test drive them & also for the carfax report on these vehicles and again NOTHING WAS DONE TO ACCOMMODATE US... even after they took our deposit, which they were rushing to do, we still weren't able to test drive the car he settled on. The payments were still on the high side, but he was offered by Franco a bi-weekly payment agreement, which we felt would be best our best option. We assumed we would receive due dates and such before we left there. AAANNNNDDDDD Still never received a copy of the carfax report on the car he gave the deposit for... I am sorry to say that Major World disappointed and dissatisfied me as a customer... After the car was ours, though, we were shown the carfax report on said vehicle and come to find out it was in a major frontal and rear accident. Being honest, we wouldn't have agreed to buy the car, knowing that it was in a major accident. We were duped. To make matters worse after we left and realized we didnt get the payment due date nor the insurance dates my fiancée called to find out when his first payment was due and he was told since we never signed up for bi-weekly payments the payment would be on May 5th... um, we only agreed on that vehicle due to the bi-weekly payment option. Again, how that works and signing that paperwork was left out by Franco. Food for thought, all that glitters isn't gold, and just because people come off as knowledgeable and nice don't mistake it for they are going above or beyond, there's a fine line but a big difference. Major World, pay me my 200.00 for sending you a customer because I won't be sending anyone else or coming for my next vehicle.
On the plus side, if your credit is shit or less than perfect they do have a large pool of lenders as well as car insurers as long as you don't mind becoming car poor (working to pay for a car you shouldn't have cause you can't afford it) FYI, If your car payment and insurance are more than a weekly paycheck reconsider the car you...
