Al-Amin Jame Masjid & Islamic Center — Attraction in New York

Yesterday I was at the mosque and I was the last one to leave after the Isha prayer and I was subjected to racial discrimination by the two people in charge of closing the mosque. I don't know why? But the two people were very violent and had nothing to do with Islam.When I was performing ablution, one of them was watching me closely. When I started praying, one of them came and stood on my shoulder watching me.Moreover, I heard them talking about me while I was praying, backbiting me. What kind of person is this? They were very racist because I was not of the same race as them.I hope that the association responsible for the masjid will take action against these people because in this way we will not be able to convert anyone to Islam, but rather we will push Muslims to turn away from it.This mosque does not belong to them, but rather to every Muslim of all colors and races, and is not specific to a specific race...

Just a reminder to some people act like this is their private property, chasing everyone from the masjid right after Friday service "Al Jumuaa", this is the house of Allah, not your house.

Can you stop being loud when you are counting money on the second floor ? Respect the other muslims who are reading the Coran or doing Salat nafl.

Nice and wide place for prayer , easy access to wudu /rest room.But very bad thing is that now since couple of months after Zuhr Salah the Muazzin standing by to close the mosque prayer place door right after 10 minutes of Farz Jamat while some musullies still praying. When Iqamah is 01:30 PM the main prayer place should keep open until 02:15 PM. I wish Mashid Committee will take care of it. Zazak...
