Saludos a la jovencita 🛹que eso me complementó en mi nivel de habilidad en mis quads 🛼; estás en la ultimata foto. Desculpa por olvidando tu nombre 😕) Grand sized- park overall but I successfully located the skatepark due to the yellow metal structures that was historically built for the World’s Fair. I advise to use that landmark to direct you to the skatepark. This park is an intermediate to early advanced skater-friendly. 🛼🛹🚲🛴 Ramps and Banks - There are ramps that slope from a length or roughly 3 feet to 5 feet. They each vary in how steep they go. Some are short in length with no smooth roll off while others are long and deep with a smooth roll off. Some have flat leveled edges for transitional points while others have copings. Excellent challenge for the beginner and great practice for the intermediate. There is one with a deep pocket for the fearless skater. Pocket - Great for carving!!! 🏄‍♂️ Ledges - There are ledges of different heights and lengths. Some slant while others are just high and leveled. The most difficult is the ledge that connects to one of the ramps. Pads/Slabs and Stairs & Railings - There are tri-leveled pads/slabs that form into steps. But the simplest are the one level slabs which are great for beginners. They all vary in the size of their cubic square feet area. But there are high level of stairs with railings to grind on. Each railing varies from round to square in shape. Overall, I really liked the historical aspects of the park, reminiscing on the “Men In Black” scenes taken there from when I viewed the movie years ago and the serenity of the park😌. It’s great place to amp up your skate level for whatever wheels (i.e.: scooter, rollerskates, etc) that you use!

This state park offers fantastic nature views perfect for family outings. Having visited multiple times, I've found it's a great spot to unwind. For a more peaceful experience with fewer crowds and less barbecue smoke, I highly recommend visiting in the morning rather than the afternoon.

This skatepark was built for a pro contest so it isn’t very good for normal skating. There is no flow in the park and the curb running down the middle is a huge headache. It’s also falling apart and a lot of the features are aren’t very skateable.

This is a great park to have to yourself in the morning, and a great park period. Tbh I was expecting it to be bigger somehow, but it’s pretty large already(spoiled from massive Texas and W. Mass parks, I guess). Ledges upon ledges upon ledges. I don’t know if I’d drive from out of state to skate just this park but the famous Hall of Sci spot is right there too, but if you are driving in there’s plenty of other parks within...

Good skating park for the kids. I think it would be nice to have some more NYPD presence. Not that there is anything to worry about, but it would help since it is a big park. Plus where are the bathrooms?? I couldn't find one for the life of me. Also just like any other NYC park, people really need to stop smoking Marijuana in public. There are kids everywhere. Not a good convo to have with children when they ask what's...
