Great place for kids of all ages!
So for the amusement park, it's 8 rides big, and each ride costs a single ticket. Pricing for tickets is a bit more than I would've imagined but the value is getting the unlimited ride wristband. $25 from whenever the park opens to 4pm. Not bad. A single ticket is $3.50. Getting 10 tickets is $30. It's a little pricey. What I loved was that if your child is under the minimum height, a parent can ride with them for free. So not only did my 2½ year old have a ton of fun, I got to experience that with him. Seeing his face light up is awesome. His clear favorite was the carousel. It was the one he went on multiple times. Also to quickly point out, staff was great, on point with making sure every child was strapped in, and made sure your child was at the minimum height to ride or a parent was needed.
There are a few games, that also cost 1 ticket each (wristbands don't work for games), but it seems like there's only one person running that area at any time. There's also a merchandise table of a few bubble makers, a couple of animal themed masks, and a nice mix of inflatables, but I doesn't seem that anyone works there. You have to ask for the items at the ticket booth, pay there, and wait for someone to get whatever you're trying to get, unless they give you whatever's from the table. I can see that being a bit of a hassle from the perspective of a person in line waiting for tickets, and obviously from someone just wanting to buy stuff.
Overall, my family loved it. Is it small? Yes, but it's in a location where there's other things to do. A short walk will get you to the science museum. Immediately next to the amusement park is the Queens Zoo. Then there's the greater surrounding park itself. Highly...
Read moreThis a very cute and very small amusement park geared towards younger kids under 7 or so. It’s next to the Queens Zoo and very close to the New York Hall of Science.
For $25, your child can go unlimited times on all of the rides. Otherwise, you can purchase individual tickets for each ride ($3). There are about 7-8 rides and one game booth. My two-year-old nephew loved the small trains ride. He’s on the tall side and the staff made him go by himself since we didn’t have extra tickets for the adults. If you have children under the height limit, then the adults can ride for free.
There’s also an old fashion carousel ride that goes very fast! It was a bit disconcerting how fast they make this carousel go. If you have young kids, I would suggest you place them go on one of the stationary horses or inside one of the carriages rather than on one of the horses that goes up and down.
The only food option here is a hot dog stand and a Mister Softee van parked by the entrance of the amusement park.
Overall, not a bad place to spend a couple of hours. There were just enough rides to keep my nephew happy. And we got to spend time at the...
Read moreCute little amusement park to let the little ones spend some time and be kids! Took my 6 year old son and he had THE BEST TIME! We went on a Monday so it was not very crowded. The staff was UNBELIEVABLY NICE and friendly! Only down side is that they do not have any restrooms or any snacks or sell water or drinks. Also it is VERY small there were only 6 rides open. The rides are 1 tickets each and each ticket costs $3.50 or you can buy a wrist band for $25.00 and they can ride as many times as they’d like from 11 am until 4 pm Monday through Thursday. I bought the wrist band and it was WORTH IT because my son went on the roller coaster AT LEAST 30 times. If the kids are over 42” they can ride alone if they are under 42” one parent is able to ride with them for free. Definitely recommend especially since the staff are so nice and professional.. Lastly there are restrooms by the ball field which is not very far from the amusement park, they are public restrooms so they are...
