It is so sad that a "good place" received a bad review just because of the hateful and arrogant behavior of an Asian receptionist (supposedly called Stanley Ye) who doesn't know anything about high quality costumer service. I made a call at 1:25 pm early in the afternoon on June 23/2017 to ask about how much could cost a night in the hotel and a woman (called Maggie, as the receptionist said) who picked up the phone gave me 2 different prices for 2 kinds of rooms respectively. I asked her if I could make the reservation by phone and she said that there was no way to do it, only I would get the room when I arrive there any time after 3:00 pm. So, knowing the prices I went to the hotel around 11:30 pm (06/23/2017) and this careless guy just increased the cost of the room in almost 30%. Respectfully, I told him that I was told by phone different prices for that night and he just said that there were different prices for weekdays and weekends. Kind of upset and frustrated I insisted I was told by "Maggie" earlier the price for the night that convinced me to choose that place. I asked this Asian guy to give me the name or the telephone number of the manager or the boss and he did not give me any information. I asked for a form that I could submit my complaint and he did not have such a thing. Please, kindly, somebody who represents the Paris Suites Hotel, receive my complain and change this disrespectful Asian guy who is mistreating the costumers and doing nothing to make the image of the hotel better. The hotel should not catch costumers saying lies by the phone, making them believe that there was a good price and then raise the prices when you get there. Thank you.

These were the worst experiences I ever had. The bathroom was used to smoke by the last person in that room 104, so I reported to the front desk, and all they did was tell me to leave the hotel if I didn't like it the smell because the person in the front desk didn't want to checked my complain. Then, at midnight , front desk called my room, and I was sleeping and accused me of playing loud music without coming to my door and see there was no a sound coming out of the room because we were sleeping. I hope the owner of this place will see this message because he better get better personal than delie front desk agent that took my complaint yesterday and just said for me to get out of the room and go home as a solution of the problem.

No breakfast of any kind, though coffee was available in the lobby, and sometimes they had brownies too. The decor was interesting, not what you usually get. The room was missing some essentials. No ventilation in the shower, missing a ceiling tile. The outlet by my nightstand didn't work. I had to get new room keycards every day as they only seemed to work for 24 hours, even for a five night stay. Finally, they wouldn't store my luggage for a few hours after I checked out. Now I get to hang out at the airport for six hours. Thanks a lot guys. Not a cheap stay, and fumbled a lot of basics. Two stars only because the decor was amusing (see below)

DISASTEROUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My wife and I were looking for a nice hotel offering a whirlpool tub in the room to celebrate our 34th anniversary. The lobby looked nice, but things went downhill very quickly. The so called parking lot was full and we had to park partially in a driveway and pray that we did not have a ticket on our car windshield in the morning. When we get to the room and open the door of our no smoking room, we are overcome by the heavy smell of some sort of drugs that were smoked in the room. It was so bad that they disconnected the smoke detector. We were going out to eat, so we opened the windows and left the exhaust fan in the restroom running in the hope of eliminating the smell. When we returned the smell was bearable, but still unacceptable. We did not want to cause problems, so we didn’t bother hotel management at this time. We then find out that they do not have ice machines accessible to the public, so we call the front desk for ice. Half an hour later I call again for the ice and it finally gets to us in another fifteen minutes. We now are observing the small, but usable whirlpool tub. It offers a remote for music, and massaging sprays all around the walls. All of which do not work. We ask about this and are told that the room does not include these amenities. By now we need more ice and the very same thing happens again. We wait for more than half an hour, we then call the front desk, and we receive the ice in about fifteen to twenty minutes. We now try the tub. We fill the tub, get in, but the water is not hot enough. When we try to let some water out to add hot water, we find that the water is not going down. We waited about half an hour to make sure that it is not just a slow drain, but it had not gone down. So again we call the front desk. This time we wait about forty five minutes, and again we have to call a second time to get someone up there. They finally realize that we are not happy and finally offer us another room. It is now after midnight and we our celebration is impossible to enjoy. They show my wife a similar room and it appears that this couple had similar issues. They had just left as well. The tub was still full of water, the room was a mess, and they told us to give them a half an hour to get the room ready. At this point we were both too tired to wait and felt that this room was not going to be any different. We just wanted to get our money back and go home. We expressed this to hotel management and they refused to issue a refund and told us to take it up with the hotel manager tomorrow. With that, we grabbed our belongings and left. This was by far the worst hotel experience that we have ever had. We went back to speak to the manager. At first he said that if we came to him as soon as we got to the room, he would have given us a full refund. Then he said that we were only entitled to a partial refund because we spent some time in the room. Then he again changed his story when we demanded a refund stating “we do not give refunds to anyone! Not even my mother would get a refund!” STAY...

Stayed at this hotel past two days. The first night we got a room on the first floor with jacuzzi. The conditioner sounded like we were on a concert. We couldn't hear the TV. That's how loud it was. What else could you expect from an old huge piece of plastic. We turned up the volume to 100(!!!!) on the TV to be able to hear at least something. We couldn't sleep the whole night cause of that noise. We went for dinner later that night, when we were back it took us 15 mins to open that door. Something went wrong with the lock. ALRIGHTY. The next day we politely asked for another room. Why didn't we do that earlier? The guy claiming to be a manager (extremely unprofessional) said they had NO rooms. We didn't insist and let it go, and went back to our noisy room. The next day we got a room with a better TV and properly working conditioner. We were happy. In the morning, as I woke up, I went to the bathroom and guess what I saw there as I turned the light on. A HUGE roach. Yup. A GIANT roach. Not the one that you see once in a while. But the size of my finger (I think it doesn't really matter which finger to understand how big it was). I stormed out of the bathroom and told my boyfriend about it. He went in and said that it was gone already. I didn't enter the bathroom ever since then. We were already late for our checkout. When we were checking out I was going to keep all the complaints to myself. I was REALLY trying to be nice and give no hard time to the lady at the Frontdesk. As we were leaving, the lady gave us our deposit back. Instead of getting 100$ that we left 2 nights before, we received 75$ instead. The lady said, "I'm sorry, but you are late for your checkout. I took 25$ off your deposit." That's when I got mad. I told her everything we have experienced in that hotel for the past two nights. She said "I'm sorry, but there's nothing I can do to control the roaches. They are everywhere. You should have called us and we would have helped you with that. And about noisy AC and quiet TV - we didn't have other rooms for you. That was the last one." WOW. Seriously? Customer service? He seemed so careless. I asked for an email so I could contact owners or customer service, she gave me reservations email. I asked for a manager, she said she's a...

Where do I begin. Let's start with check in. I booked this hotel for my disabled U.S. Army Vet brother and specified ADA accessible.

Day 1--

Prior to his arrival, they gave away the 1-accessible room they had available. He had roam NYC from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. trying to find a hotel; all booked.

They said, "We cannot accommodate people with disabilities." So, he called me upset. I tried to speak with the clerk, but she screamed, "I've been talking to your brother for 3 hrs. We cannot accommodate a person with disabilities."

Does the Federal & State Government know about this place. They will now! Hello, there are specific laws that call for all hotels to be handicap accessible.

To add insult to injury, they sent him on a wild goose chase to find accommodations. Mind you, this reservation was booked 3-weeks in advance. He is paralyzed on his right side. He has 1-arm and he wears a rt leg brace to keep him vertical.

Even though they could not check him in nor accommodate him, they blocked his credit card for the full 7-day stay.

Since he could not find a place to sleep, his son drove him back to the hotel & they claimed to have moved someone out & gave the accessible room to my brother.

Day--6

Yesterday, he asked for clean sheets for the bed and they said, "Aren't you checking out tomorrow?" They never brought the sheets.

While he was out, they picked up his towels. When he requested towels they told him they only give a certain number of towels to the guest and that he needed to trade out his old towels for new one. Well, they already entered the room and took them. No fresh towel to shower with.

Day 7--

When his son tried to pick him up, the staff blocked the handicap parking with a company truck and refused to move out of the handicap space. The price was $1400 for 7-nights.

People, stay here at your own risk. Dealing with these people wasn't worth having a stroke. Needless to say, I do not recommend. This is why I always stay in...
