The remnant of the observation towers that once overlooked the World's Fair held in Flushing Meadows Park in Queens. Now they are just a giant rusting heap of metal suspended over Queen's Theatre and New York State Pavilion. Completely not functional anymore, but it's still an awesome sight to see the glory of what Flushing Meadows Park once was. The only reminder of these towers in popular culture now is the old 90's hit Men in Black. Otherwise, it's not even lit up at night nor will most people even know about these towers' existence.

Very cool but had an awkward encounter with a guy named Edgar. He asked me sugar water before he kidnapped a woman and tried to carry her to the top of the observation towers. Some guys in suits showed up, and my memory gets a little foggy...

I walked by this abandoned decrepit horror. What in the dystopian corrupted state projects is this nightmare? Tear it down! It’s rusting, it’s an eyesore, it’s safety hazard, and it’s a national...
