Asadero La Fogata — Restaurant in New York

I will never come here again. My family and I were looking for place to have a nice dinner and drinks. 1st- we got there and the waitress seemed like she didn’t want to be there. Her energy was so bad. 2nd- we ordered margaritas and they were by far the worst margaritas I’ve ever had in my life. It tasted like liquor with water. No lemon flavor. We had a sip of the drinks and asked if we can exchange for something else because they weren’t good. We still got charged for them. 3rd- the waitress seemed to be arguing with me about a side I asked for which she said okay to when I placed my order (I didn’t end up getting any side with my order). 4th- we asked for dressing for the salad and the dressing was gross. It was a hassle to squeeze some out of the bottle because it was so thick. This weird liquid ended up coming out of the bottle. The bill ended up being over $200. For what we got and the service, it was not worth it at all. Please save your money and time and go find some place else. Will not be...

I love me some Colombian food! However this is no where near Colombian food I came here last week with my family in hopes of finding another comfort place. As soon as I got here the energy was of!! I came in and the waiter had such nasty attitude. It felt as if she was bothered that we came here. I figured she was just having a bad day so I didn’t put Mind to it. After we were sat we waited about 15 minutes to order drinks. They never came no once came it was honestly a harsh experience then yesterday I ordered for take out and the food was cold dense and unflavored. Update 6/6/22: This restaurant has gone down hill with their staff. Went for lunch yesterday and they were extremely rude and unprofessional. Nasty attitude, smart remarks, eye rolling the whole 9. Either they train their staff or fire those who clearly don't want to be there. Wanted to have a good time and pleasant meal but I was upset pretty much the whole time. This is not ok considering there are a lot more restaurants I can support and give my $$$ to. Won't be going back until staff gets their act together or the owner gets new employees. Only one of the female waitresses was nice. 👎👎👎
