Octopus Garden Inc — Attraction in New York

First - the guys behind the counter were awesome and super helpful. They even gave me a little deal on prices. I bought 3 bags of frozen and marinated octopus and it was fantastic. I bought a pound of vongole clams that were good. But lastly, I bought 3 frozen lobster tails and they were inedible, brown, and slimy, and smelly. Supposed to be for a home-cooked mother's day dinner, which was a huge let down... $36 in lobster down the drain. Now, I must also admit I never made it through by phone to request a refund (I called several times, but it was busy or didn't answer), so I cannot say how they would have responded.

Best place to get octopus that was caught in Spain. The largest I've bought was 6.5 lbs and they had 16 lbs available. The guy told me largest they've ever sold was 21 lbs. This place has good selection of quality seafood (scallops, shrimp, etc.). If you buy a lot they'll give you a cooler box and ice packs. There are also products from Italy (canned tomatoes, pasta, etc.). But you gotta watch out for their working hours and know when to come....

They don't understand when you tell them how you want your fish cleaned. I purchased a whitening fish. They asked me how I wanted the fish cleaned, and I told them to cut the head off and fillet it.
